I agree. The surest way to lose a game is to not show up. Not how I was raised. My dad taught me the old Navy saying, “the difficult we do right away, the impossible takes little longer.” One of his brothers did groundbreaking work in using gyroscopes for Navy ballistics. Another of his brothers did math for the Manhattan Project. Nobody ever considered just leaving Hitler in power because he was too popular. It’s just not how that generation approached difficult problems. That’s why I chose my tag line way back when I joined. I knew we would reach a point when it seemed too hard to keep going. But that’s why God put us here. This is our watch. It is our duty and our honor to fight this insurgency until we win. Period. Defeatism is as much an enemy to us as a bayonet in the back. It has no place here. Not if we mean to win.
Glenn wins award, talks disruptive innovation at TreBeCa Film Festival

Friday afternoon, Glenn traveled to downtown Manhattan where he was presented with the TriBeCa Disruptive Innovation Award. After receiving his award, the Charles Darwin Prize, Glenn sat down with Aryeh Bourkoff to talk about how his company is changing the media.
To those less familiar with Glenn Beck and TheBlaze, what Glenn is building may simply seem like a new news and information platform. For those curious enough to take a closer look, whats going on at TheBlaze is much bigger. Like the award says, TheBlaze is disrupting the system with something its never seen before something that is taking the power away from the giant bureaucracy that news has become, and putting it right back in the hand of the consumer. The engagement of TheBlaze subscribers themselves are a large part of the innovative disruption that is TheBlaze.
News is like sausage you might like to eat it, but you never want to see it made, Glenn told the Disruptive Innovation audience.
Glenn learned this early on in his cable news career.
KB, I have been wanting to respond to your post but it’s an insanely busy time. I am planning to add a few words tomorrow, but for now let me just say no one would willingly work w a Malignant Narcissist if (1) they had any idea what they’re like, & (2) there was any alternative. Soros & co are shrewd opportunists but they’re not psychiatrists. They managed to keep Obama under control (more or less) for the first term but my guess is stress headaches are breaking out all over the Obama-handler camp this go round. More later, God willing.
On a quick side note. Have you ever read the Hillbuzz section entitled Is Obama Gay? There is mention of a Chicago cop that used to rent an apt close to Obama’s house [despite his having his own house about an hr’s drive from the apt]. Obama used to drop in for “work outs”...which only lasted between 15 & 20 minutes. Draw your own conclusions. Supposedly the cop’s gone missing, a la Donald Young. There’s a lot more stuff in that file too; you might want to take a peek.
