that’s odd. Guy is ‘mistakenly’ fingered as a suspect and found days later floating in the river...

Taken out?

According to an article written around the time of his disappearance he left behind his cell phone other belongings and a suicide note.

Only weird if you make it so. It sounded to me like he had committed suicide, and apparently that is what happened.

Tripathi's brother, Ravi, told CNN's "Piers Morgan Live" on Wednesday night that Sunil was never clinically diagnosed with depression, but the family knew he was having mood problems.

A thread from yesterday if anyone is interested in the comments thereon.

Heartbreak as police 'find body of missing college student FALSELY accused..

In the early hours of 16 March Sunil Tripathi left the apartment he shared with other students on Angell Street in the Rhode Island city of Providence and walked into the darkness. At 1.33am a CCTV camera caught him pacing across a zebra crossing, hands pushed inside the pockets of his ski jacket, and then he was gone.....

Last week, a lot of people thought they had seen Sunil Tripathi. Indeed, some people were so convinced he looked like one of two men identified by police as suspects in the Boston bombing that even before officials had named the two suspects, countless numbers of people were claiming the young man was the subject of a massive, unprecedented manhunt......

Sunil Tripathi, former member of the class of 2012, was discovered missing Sunday morning when a friend of Tripathi’s found a note suggestive of suicidal intent with his belongings in his apartment, said Tripathi’s sister Sangeeta Tripathi ’04.

I thought I read he left his cell phone behind. Perhaps I was mistaken or it was in another article.

I read somewhere that bombs were found near Brown University not long after his disappearance. I’m not trying to tie it to this man who has been found but merely adding to the incompetence of our government who supposedly never found out where they came from and there could be other terrorists roaming around in New England.

Our MSM Sooooper-Geniuses apparently failed to recognize that as a Hindu name before linking him to the bombings.

So sad. Being in the limelight for such a terrible crime could bring even a healthy, sane person over the edge. Prayers for his family.

Let me guess - he shot himself in the head, re-loaded, and shot himself again.

His name does not sound Muslim at all but is very much an Indian Hindu name. Misidentifying him as a suspect in the Boston bombing brings to mind the small collection of morons who went after turban wearing Sikhs in the immediate days after 9/11.

He was a politically naive, stupid kid...like a lot of college students. Still a sad story.
