This kind of bull $hit is what got 13 soldiers killed at Ft Hood by that raghead Major Hussan.
Last night I reported that I will check in on this.
I have done so and the SBC website is indeed blocked.
I will be calling my Congressman later today.
Mustn’t post when I am getting ready to crawl into bed. For some reason I was thinking FORSCOM. /embarrassed.
Thanks
I wonder if the web sites of any Black Baptist conventions were blocked? [/sarcasm]
” Im a Deacon at my Baptist Church, I guess that makes me a terrorist cell leader.”
You have to be an elder at my church to qualify : )
Let us know please.
I am hyper aware of abusing the internet at work.
My boss cuts me a lot of slack, since when I do it, I also keep the entire company updated on current events, and I can find factual answers to almost every question asked. I am the go-to news junkie.
OTOH, I try to be very mindfull of my company related tracking data, since I know the information available to website owners, if they pay for the user tracking data.
Many do.
Companies get various levels of reporting data on “viewers” of their websites.
Other companies can also pay for the data...on other peoples websites.
Call it the darkside of the net.
Nasty little spybots, cookies and killer email viruses attack secured and unsecured networks every day.
I don't FReep at work.
I listen to a lot of doom & gloom financial people. I should listen to more positive people for their perspective as to why this hasn’t collapsed and why they think it won’t. It sure seems like we’re living in a parallel universe.
Did you call your congressman?
Is the site still blocked?
Thank you.
I will take the SBC’s word for it, but remain vigilant.
The SBC site will now open on my work computer.
Thanks for the update.
The SBC leadership is not as strong as it has been in yesteryears. Very rarely are they “in the light” on controversial issues. They are rather “lukewarm” and do not seek to be quoted on the events of the day in the media. You have to give it to Jerry Falwell. . . at least we knew what the issues were!
You know what the Lord says about the lukewarm! Illinois has a sex ed curriculum that is passing without an outcry from the clergy. It may have already passed. It is in the Illinois senate and it is my understanding it is passing along party lines. The curriculum is more than disturbing. Parents don’t have a clue.
