The CIA asked the main U.S. counterterrorism agency to add the name of one of the suspected Boston Marathon bombers to a watch list more than a year before the attack, according to U.S. officials.

Infuriating to say the least! The circle of the different agencies wagons has begun though and that tells us that Beck and others are onto something big. I am waiting on the Blaze to update the evening show on demand for today, so I can watch the part I missed.

Several things proven so far:
1. DHS government terror watch list has got to be the best and most rigorous 'background check' in the nation, but it evidently can be fooled by a single character misspelling in a suspect's name. You can be actively watched by the FBI and DHS and travel to and from the most dangerous Muslim terrorist nation on the planet and nobody will bat an eye if the name on your state-issued driver's license doesn't match up with the DHS terrorist watch list. Outrageous.
2. You can be watched by the FBI for years, interviewed by FBI field agents even, and still acquire bombs and guns and fireworks and bomb components with no visible means of support. I'm not even convinced the terrorist would show up on a NICS background check to prevent them from purchasing a gun.
3. If you're a terrorist and haven't got enough guns, murdering a cop and taking their sidearm is one viable option for circumventing a 'background check' at the sporting goods store.
4. Add up all of the above and it appears that America's first line of defense against terrorists who walk amongst us is whatever scrutiny the old man running a gun counter or a fireworks stand uses in detecting furriners up to no good.

Why do two rubes use a special battery that is used in toys that is more expensive then one at Walmart . This bomb was not you typical pipe bomb.

Exactly. As said above there is an epic fail here by the administration.

They already know exactly what happened and exactly who the hell these foreigners are.
Those in the White House have access to all documents, intel, FBI reports, Police reports, NSA reports, CIA intel, interviews, timelines etc....They have 1 trillion dollars worth of computerized data and hundreds of thousands who can deliver it to the Oval office from many different government agencies.
These two were not aliens from planet Unobtainium, in some far off Galaxy.
They were foreigners, on government watch lists, the White House had been warned about these people and they were receiving welfare benefits while living in Boston.
They know every connection these people every had, where they've been, traveled to and what their motives were.
If Bush41, Clinton, and Bush43 didn't help you get that way, you weren't paying attention.
