After five weeks of prosecution evidence, the defense in the murder trial of West Philadelphia abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell ended abruptly today with the 72-year-old doctor not testifying and his lawyer presenting no witnesses.

Yes. The judge dismissed a bunch of the charges. I’d guess that they’re expecting a conviction that they can successfully appeal on some sort of technical grounds, or that he’s going to be acquitted like OJ was.

The born alive protection act was squelched. If the mother wants her baby dead, it’s her legal choice.
This is about how our legal system allows this. The mothers - and fathers- of these kids want them dead and out of the way and it is legal for them to make it happen.
It’s not about whatever heartless beast they get to do this in their attempt to take the blame away. That’s legal.
I bet that the jury will acquit Gosnell. If they convict Gosnell it would make da community and 0bama look bad. If Gosnell were a white man they would convict him.
He should’ve called in Barack Obama, who’s already gone on record to say that the decision to abort a baby should not be challenged just because the baby may be breathing after it is delivered from the botched attempt.
Obama will pardon the doc.
