Police Perform House to House Raids in Watertown, MA

WATERTOWN, MA -- On Friday, April 19, 2013, during a manhunt for a bombing suspect, police and federal agents spent the day storming people's homes and performing illegal searches. While it was unclear initially if the home searches were voluntary, it is now crystal clear that they were absolutely NOT voluntary. Police were filmed ripping people from their homes at gunpoint, marching the residents out with their hands raised in submission, and then storming the homes to perform their illegal searches.

Take a look at this shocking YouTube video and see what you think. Americans who care about our constitutional rights should be thinking about how we can preserve them before it is too late.

If a homicidal maniac who possibly had dynamite strapped to his body were hiding somewhere in my neighborhood, I would let the cops in to search my house and wouldn’t blame them if they stormed in if I didn’t answer the door.

I’ve seen this video in the last few days. I don’t see anything in the video that would confirm this search was in Watertown or was made as part of the manhunt. The police don’t seem to have interest in anything in the neighborhood but the occupants of that house.

If in fact it was a part of the Watertown manhunt, definitely questionable tactics used against people who most obviously weren’t their suspect. I suspect they were operating under “exigent circumstances” which does allow the Police to enter private dwellings without a warrant.

First Waco, then Ruby Ridge, The police went from door to door confiscating guns in New Orleans after the hurricane, and now this outrage in Boston. This unimpeded government will surely grow as monstrous as the Nazis or Communists, just give them time.

It looks like a very inefficient use of manpower. It was a several block area, so why not just establish a perimeter, make a sweep of the area (outside homes) and check everyone going in and out of the perimeter?

There is a HUGE difference between letting them in and being yanked from your home without a warrant AT gunpoint, man. Jeez.

I would really like to hear from the families themselves, that had this done to them.

Exactly why the "right to bear arms" and "secure in your person, home, possessions....was in the Constitution.

Do the people in Massachusetts realize how defenseless they were as "We The People".

To Massachusetts: Go back and read the Preamble to the Constitution. Then read about Paul Revere again.

Then think...

Seems to me like the residents were applauding the cops after this episode was over.

If I was already assured that the bomber wasn’t in my house, I’d ask to see the warrant or else they could pound sand.

That’s why I would like to hear from those residents. So far, all I’ve read about it, is from people that didn’t actually have it done to them.

If the “suspect” had entered my home ... well I live in Arizona not sissified un-armed Mass, so I have all the protection I need. A prolonged (unconstitutional) search
would NOT have been necessary in that case.

Is there any evidence

any documentation

any proof

anywhere

that during the Watertown search legally owned firearms were seized or confiscated from anyone?

Was anyone arrested anywhere in Watertown for armed defense of their residence?

Even witth "exigent circumstances" they need probable cause.

I’m curious what if someone had resisted these “home invasions” and demanded their 4th Amendment rights be respected... would the cops had killed them? It seems ALL average Americans are now SUSPECTS to our “leaders” (or should I say our MASTERS). It seems to Obama and his “Lewisnsky” media, that the REAL “terrorists” are NOT Islamists, but those of us who believe in God, male/female marriage, live born babies, The Constitution (2nd Amendment included) and keeping most of our hard earned money. We are the DANGEROUS ones to the statists!

Certainly. Probable cause is implicit in the concept. Circumstances must be apparent that would lead a reasonable person to believe that warrantless entry was necessary because the occupants (or officers) are facing eminent danger, the destruction of relevant evidence or the escape of a suspect. Very fuzzy around those edges...

More here:

The disturbing part is that they thought or wanted everybody to think that he would actually enter an occupied residence to hide rather than OUTSIDE somewhere or leave the area.
