In the aftermath of the Boston Marathon killing spree by foreign-born jihadists, see-no-evil bureaucrats in Washington are stubbornly defending America's lax asylum policies. DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano told the Senate Tuesday that the screening process is rigorous, effective and extensive.
These people can't handle the truth. Or tell it.
The Tsarnaev brothers reportedly were granted asylum by "derivative" status through their parents. After entering on short-term tourist visas, the mother and father (an ethnic Chechen Muslim) won asylum and acquired U.S. citizenship. Next, younger son Dzhokhar obtained U.S. citizenship. Older son Tamerlan, whose naturalization application was pending, traveled freely between the U.S. and the jihad recruitment zone of Dagestan, Russia, last year before the bombers' gunfight in Watertown, Mass., last week left the Muslim terrorist dead.
Though they had convinced the U.S. that they faced deadly persecution, the Tsarnaevs' parents both returned to their native land and were there when their sons launched last week's terror rampage. Authorities will not reveal any details of the sob stories the Tsarnaevs originally spun to win asylum benefits for the entire family.
The whole thing stinks. And it's an old, familiar stench. Immigration lawyers have been working the system on behalf of asylum con artists for decades. The racketeers coach applicants with phony stories and documents from "chop shops" and game their way through "refugee roulette."
Asylum and refugee claimants are being rubber-stamped at all-time-high rates. Government data analyzed by the nonpartisan TRAC website show that "the odds of an asylum claim being denied in Immigration Court reached an historic low in FY 2012, with only 44.5 percent being turned down. Ten years ago, almost two out of three (62.6 percent) individuals seeking asylum lost their cases in similar actions. Twenty years ago, fewer than one out of four (24 percent) asylum...

If the FBI was tracking the brother and knew who he was, why did they release a photo of him and his brother and ask the public for help in finding the two.

Taxpayers struggling to survive could not afford such an expenditure. But thanks to profitable US immigration laws, hate-filled criminals—financed with tax dollars—are able to harm and kill Americans using our tax dollars.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the 26-year-old Chechen terrorist killed Friday morning in a wild shootout with Boston police, was a legal US resident. He could have been sent back to his homeland after a 2009 domestic violence conviction (wasn't his wife--the bum hit his grlfriend).
BUT thanks to Obama’s sucking up to ethnic solidarity terrorism, the prez sap-happily decreed that "deportations" are limited only to foreigners who committed “serious crimes”----Obama allowed the bomber to stay and do his dirty work.

After the murder of the MIT police officer, which occurred after the marathn bombings, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev rode in a carjacked auto. The murderous two then casually stopped at an ATM to withdraw cash.
The Chechneyan brothers did not seem to be "needy"----they were well-fed, attired in fashionable clothing---had cash in the bank---- and time and money to purchase components and make bombs. Traveled to Russia---(and elsewhere?) All without any visible means of support---like jobs.
There's a zillion ways the Chechneyan bombers were being financed by the same unsuspecting Bostonians they plotted asgainst....and other Americans. You can be sure the Brothers Tsarnaev knew the routine. Probably bought fake ID's to establish multiple identites to ride the US gravy train.
Claiming "asylum from Russian persecution" gets tham a wealth of tax-paid freebies---no questions asked----a policy dating back to WW 11. There's large SS checks, housing subsidies, instant welfare, food stamps, UI, EITC, SSI, education payments, free medical care.....and so on and so forth, ad infinitum, ad nauseaum.
The parents needed asylum, but somehow both ended up back home without any harm done to them. How DARE we question such a system, why it is exploiting a tragedy! Only liberals get to do that apparently.

(AP) President Obama's Aunt Zeituni Onyango lived in public housing as an illegal immigrant for a time because the "system" took advantage of her, she said in a recent interview. "I didn't ask for it; they gave it to me," Onyango said in an interview with CBS affiliate WBZ-TV, scheduled to air tonight and Tuesday night. "Ask your system," she continued, unapologetically, when asked about the situation. "I didn't create it or vote for it. Go and ask your system."
Onyango, the half-sister of Mr. Obama's late father, moved from Kenya to the United States in 2000. She first applied for asylum in 2002, citing violence in Kenya, according to the Associated Press. Onyango's request was rejected in 2004, but she stayed in the country, living in public housing in Boston. WBZ-TV reports that Onyango fell seriously ill but she did not have enough money to travel home after recovering.
When it was reported in 2008 that Onyango was possibly in the country illegally, Mr. Obama said he had no knowledge of her status. As a presidential candidate, Mr. Obama told CBS News' Katie Couric that he was not against the possible deportation of his aunt. "If she has violated laws, then those laws have to be obeyed," he said. "We are a nation of laws."
Onyango, however, told WBZ-TV, "If I come as an immigrant, you have the obligation to make me a citizen." Onyango was granted asylum earlier this year (which entitles her to monthly SS checks and other freebies). For more of this interview, visit WBZ-TV.

Would Same Rubber-stamping Occur Under Senate Amnesty Bill?
WASHINGTON, DC (April 24, 2013) — Statistics from U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Service indicate that the agency is rubber-stamping the applications for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. They report that 99.5% of applicants have been approved, which appears to be well above approval rates for other legal programs, which have fraud and rejection rates in the double digits. The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) predicts the level of fraud could be significant in what is considered a test run for the much larger amnesty included in the Schumer-Rubio immigration bill.
In the first six weeks of the DACA program, only one out of every 5,000 applications was denied. These numbers are quite worrisome, considering prior CIS research estimated that one quarter of the applications during the 1986 amnesty were fraudulent. The 1986 program had an even tougher application review process that included routine face to face interviews. The question is whether such a limited review process would also occur under the sweeping amnesty bill currently being considered by Congress.
“USCIS should answer public concerns that DACA applicants are not required to prove their claims of eligibility, and that the agency is taking proper care to vet applicants so that unqualified and possibly dangerous individuals will be screened out and removed,” stated Jessica Vaughan, Director of Policy Studies at the Center for Immigration Studies. “Moreover, given renewed concern over the national security risks of mass immigration, no large-scale legalization program should be implemented until a thorough quality control and fraud assessment of DACA has been conducted. The stakes for public safety are just too high for us to rush into sweeping reforms.”

This bill will only exclude the most violent criminals and I’d bet many of those slip through.
