Search of Tsarnaevs' phones, computers finds no indication of accomplice, source says

A preliminary examination of the cellphones and computers used by the Tsarnaev brothers has found no indication of an accomplice in the Boston Marathon bombing, according to a U.S. counter-terrorism source briefed on the FBI investigation.

The source stressed that the investigation is ongoing, but bureau officials at this point appear increasingly confident that “nobody else was involved,” said the source.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has told investigators he and his brother acted alone, learned to build the pressure-cooker bombs over the Internet and were motivated by a desire to defend Islam because of "the U.S. wars in Iraq and Afghanistan," said the source, who has received multiple briefings on the probe.

It is literally impossible that these two young people had no accomplices. It is literally impossible that they all of a sudden woke up and on a whim said I want to use Alqueda style bombs to kill and maim innocent innocent Americans. This was planned. There was the trip to the visit Musim extremists and Jihadists in Russia, the warning from the Russians, the amount of explosives and guns the kids had. There is also their willingness to die for their cause.

They probably used university computers, netcafe or public library computers and other user names- so easy to do and impossible to trace.
Did they check to see if they had library cards/student cards?
But university usually has cctv images of the computer users by date and their student sign-in handle.

I guess the investigators fail to notice how cheaply some cell phones, where you simply put some cash on an account for it, use it temporarily and toss out are. I bet if they checked existing cell phone and land line accounts of some others they are/should be watching they’d find calls made to them from Boston from some throw away cell phones.

I spent some time yesterday perusing the psycho jihadi bomber’s twitter account. I only read his tweets going back for about a year, but there’s much more than that.

Within just the most recent year I scanned, the little psycho must have mentioned at least a half dozen different times that he had “lost my cellphone”, or “my phone got turned off”, or “I got a new phone.” I’d like to think the FBI realizes that whatever phone(s) they’ve been able to locate and search are hardly the only phones the b*stard had over the past year.

Also, from scanning several recent months of the psyhco’s twitter account, one (of many) tweets that jumped out at me was the one where he boasted: “I’m a very good liar.”
