That’s why I left the Republican party... DC is simply the sand box for the super narcissists of western society to play in. They all will answer to God one day, “for to whom much is given, much will be required”... especially where ones decisions affects the lives of others.

Absolutely true. Most of the denizens of DC are just there for the ego trip and job security. I mean, what else would these clowns be doing if they didn’t have their lucrative gigs in DC? The biggest fear of a DC pol is the thought of having to go back to the hinterlands, be an anonymous citizen, and get a real job producing something for someone else.
Republicans enjoy the ride and the collegiality of their Dem pals. The main difference between the two is that Dems play to win (much to the delight of their constituients) and Republicans fear their own shadow.
We need a party that the Dems fear.
