Ira Einhorn was on stage hosting the first Earth Day event at the Fairmount Park in Philadelphia on April 22, 1970. Seven years later, police raided his closet and found the "composted" body of his ex-girlfriend inside a trunk.
A self-proclaimed environmental activist, Einhorn made a name for himself among ecological groups during the 1960s and '70s by taking on the role of a tie-dye-wearing ecological guru and Philadelphias head hippie. With his long beard and gap-toothed smile, Einhorn who nicknamed himself "Unicorn" because his German-Jewish last name translates to "one horn" advocated flower power, peace and free love to his fellow students at the University of Pennsylvania. He also claimed to have helped found Earth Day.

He was also on the Warren Commission -- providers of the entirely plausible "lone gunman" theory.
Is a composted girlfriend better or worse than a composite one?
It would appear both processes were in play. The variable was the level of moisture present. Composting receded as mummification increased.
But he committed his crime in an earth friendly way - he composted his girlfriend. That would get him a significantly lighter sentence in San Francisco.
I think I would be tempted to expand that to ALL lawyers, regardless of specialty. And then along comes someone like Ted Cruz. :)
Isn’t that what Obama did with his old girlfriend? ...composted her?
That would depend on the composite.
Well played. Nauseating, but well played.
Everybody DANCE!!!!
LOL!!!
Nice legs, Shame about the face
I had to take her dancing
I couldn’t let her down
So we caught the bus
To the other side of town
Out upon the dance floor
I wasn’t getting far
So I had a drink with my friends
Up at the bar
I asked them what they thought of her They fell about the place
And they said nice legs
Shame about her face

Well, at least that helps explain Al Gore.
I’m sorry, but I see no humor in this. He was an abusive pos who beat his girlfriend and murdered her when she tried to leave. I don’t find anything funny about that.
A friend of mine grew up in that neighborhood and remembers Einhorn as this weird hippy dippy dude but hardly any kind of community leader, except in his own mind.
