The economic impact of the Boston Marathon bomb suspect manhunt could run into the billions of dollars, according to one expert, as a million city residents were stuck at home, stores were shuttered and public transit ground to a halt.
Boston businesses were advised to remain closed, city employees were told to stay home or remain in place at work, vehicular traffic was limited and travel into the city via Amtrak and discount bus lines was suspended.

Would anyone in their right mind go to Boston (or any other big liberal city for that matter) when it has a severe Islamic terrorist and terrorist sympathizer infestation.

Another 'brilliant' statement from the Obama Regime.
FR is funded solely by the freedom loving folks who love and use it.

What’s the city’s justification for subsidizing the mosque where the terrorists were attendees? Did they provide similar subsidies for Christian or Jewish places of worship?

Maybe they should stay shut down for another week. You know, just in case. There COULD be another bomb or bomber out there. And since the entire populace of Boston is apparently incapable of defending themselves, I really think another week indoors hiding under the bed would be prudent. The media loves the term "on lockdown", like everyones a prisoner and they are the wardens.

How is this different than a big blizzard? 1. No advance warning.
2. Caused by government jackboots

Boston is a perfect example of brainless, gutless, unarmed liberal sheep bleating for their fascist masters.
Baaah!

How is this different than a big blizzard? That depends. Is the blizzard in rural Texas, or Boston?

You know something... i hadnt even thought of that. I think youre absolutely right. Well start hearing about all the suffering in Boston, and the need for emergency relief.
Was in a Whole Foods tonight ...already they have corporate sponsored point of sale campaign for donations for the suffering in Boston.
Hl*l — some of those Bostonites probably are far more well off than WE are!!

Just more roadmap for the next successful terrorists. They couldn't have asked for a more triumphal action. They killed and maimed infidels and cost the economy lots of money with minimal investment.

So THIS is what 44/2 was referring to when he said that “we’re in debt to Boston” (the payoff cometh)

Well start hearing about all the suffering in Boston, and the need for emergency relief. They've had RomneyCare for years so the medical costs for those wounded is already covered. Right?
They can pay for all the law enforcement overtime with the money they didn't spend by having the rest of the government employees stay home. The private companies shut down for this won't be paid for it, so why should the government employees shut down be paid?
The only extra expense I see is that they owe the guy who actually found the last perp a new boat!
