The FBI was last night hunting a 12-strong terrorist “sleeper cell” linked to the Boston marathon bomb brothers.
Police believe Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev were specially trained to carry out the devastating attack.
More than 1,000 FBI agents were last night working to track down the cell and arrested a man and two women 60 miles from Boston in the hours before Dzhokhar’s dramatic capture after a bloody shootout on Friday.
A source close to the investigation said: “We have no doubt the brothers were not acting alone. The devices used to detonate the two bombs were highly sophisticated and not the kind of thing people learn from Google.
“They were too advanced. Someone gave the brothers the skills and it is now our job to find out just who they were. Agents think the sleeper cell has up to a dozen members and has been waiting several years for their day to come.”

It’s a little odd. Usually the press will provide the very basics of someone’s occupation and financial circumstances, but not in this case. Maybe it’s not known yet.

The story was so all-consuming for five days I guess a lot of basic information hasn’t been learned yet since the family is so scattered and none of the relatives seemed to know too many current details of the family’s circumstances.
One question: what kind of a terror cell would have these two numbskulls in it? They carried out a bombing on national TV, and decided to not leave the city, or disguise themselves? I think this might be a case of the Feds thinking they are so smart, and only brilliant terror masterminds could outfox them.
I think their ride out of town or means via cash or a vehicle for getaway purposes was the guy with the burned hands and the fat wallet who is going home next week/being deported- I think he left them hanging out to dry...they had no money and no car-they had to have had a getaway plan but something went wrong-

The people hear calling them idiots, you might consider that this all could have been pulled off for $1-2k. They had little or no fear of death -as it would be martyrdom. Before this is over, if this costs one dollar it will cost $200 million. For every dollar they spent, we’ll spend $100,000. And, we all lose more freedom. Not to mention, we had 9,000 law enforcement officers deployed and the terrorists were brought down by the tiny Newtown PD and a guy tinkering with his boat.

I was watching the news last nite and said to my friend, “ those guys were too young to get that kind of skills”
They didn’t knock over a 7-11. That’s where the owner of the SUV got away and ran into a 7-11 to call the cops.
Hope she immediately dropped that class.
