The Republican's plan also includes a ban on the sale of Barrett .50-caliber semi-automatic sniper rifles,

How many people have actually been shot with a Barrett .50?

Thank God they outlawed those Barrett 50 Calibers here in Commiefornia.

After all, there were ZERO Crimes ever committed using a Barrett, but you never know when a Teenage Muslim might get a hold of one...

Just when you think even Liberals and RINOS can’t be that stupid, your worst fears are realized.

I think Christie wants them outlawed because it’s the only Rifle powerful enough to take down such a big hulking mass.

It’s hard to imagine a fascist toilet like New Jersey still has any more “gun control” measures left to pursue. I think Governor Pork Porkie is just trying to burnish his resume with the Democrats he hopes will nominate him for their 2016 presidential ticket. Maybe he can get Ann Coulter to campaign for him.

I'd like to see how it could get around United States v. Miller.

The plan does not address classroom security

Of course not, why solve the actual problem when you can ban things that aren't used in crimes??

So what happened to the “Christie for Prez” crowd around here? They hanging around with the “Scott Brown for Prez” crowd?

Why Barrett? There’s other brands. Does Krispy have something against guns manufactured in Tennessee?

As a guy who lives here and has to deal with the nonsense of New Jersey gun laws, it could have been a LOT worse. I know the radical extreme bills the maniac Democrats in Trenton have been introducing. Christie’s proposals are mild - very mild. On the face of what I see, I can live with them until I can afford to escape from here.

Political dynamics in this state are such that the Democrats control the Legislature as they control the masses of urban “minority” voters - mainly Democrat - in Mercer, Camden, Essex, Middlesex, Hudson, Passaic and Union County.

If Christie doesn’t veto those bills they are pushing and this indicates he will, New Jersey would become Washington D.C. on a massive scale.

Clearly he is trying to position himself for a Presidential run and clearly he recognizes our power on the National Stage.

If anyone is interested in what those maniac Trenton Democrats ARE trying to present, I’ll be more than willing to enlighten them.

Do they have statistics which give the number of crimes that involve guns as committed by, and committed upon, Blacks, Whites and Latinos?

The New Joisey mafia, and the street thugs, are sure going to abide by these new gun laws.

“and mandating that ID presented by would-be gun-owners is government-issued.”

That’s already the case. You need a NJ FID card for purchases and the address on the card has to match your drivers license to be a valid. Why is another law needed?

"and provisions to make it easier for courts and health care professionals to involuntarily commit people they consider violent to a psychiatric hospital"

Pound sand, Christie. In this country you are innocent until proven guilty. You don't get 'commit' people in advance of a crime. And I sure as hell don't want the same group that bowed to social pressure and claimed homosexuality is 'normal' redefining the word 'violent' too.

I never was too impressed with Christie. He’s better than a Democrat which is per usual for RINOs. Now, I’m not so sure.
