Documents have been presented to Congress confirming that plans were made to revoke the visa of Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, a Saudi national once considered a “person of interest” in the Boston bombings, a congressional source told TheBlaze on Thursday.

The congressional source, however, said the information sent to Congress showed that a file was created on “Abdul Rahman Ali Al Harby” at 4 p.m. on Tuesday by an official with the National Targeting Center, a counterterrorism sub-agency of U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Department of Homeland Security. The file stated that the individual is “linked to the Boston bombing” and was to be processed for revocation of his visa based on national security grounds, the congressional source revealed.

Update 3 4:26pm ET: A senior law enforcement official with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) told TheBlaze Thursday that reports claiming the department was deporting Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi under section 212 3B (“security and related grounds”) and had opened an “event” (or file) on the Saudi Arabian national following the Boston attacks is “categorically false.”

The official also told TheBlaze that Alharbi was never in custody nor ever considered for deportation by ICE, but that the department does have a different Saudi national in custody being held on grounds unrelated to the Boston bombings.

UPDATE 2: Rep. Jeff Duncan had a tense exchange with Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano Thursday morning after Duncan raised questions about the Saudi ‘person of interest’ and reports he may be deported. Napolitano became defensive and said “I’m not going to answer that question” instead of simply providing an explanation. More on TheBlaze.

Looks like our "Congress" could stop the deportation by issuing a subpoena for the witness to appear before them.

There are some complex connections here that need thorough investigation. The interests of the American people should come ahead of Obama's desire to get him out of the country before he can be questioned, IMO.

I was just wondering if anybody has the picture of Alharbi with the group of his friends. Not the one where they are all wearing green, but the one where there might be 5 or 6 of them all standing together. I believe two of the guys are holding hands. Thank you. I have looked on all my past threads and it seems all the pictures have been removed.
