A woman believed to be the mother of Boston bombing suspects Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev was arrested last year for shoplifting at a Cambridge Lord & Taylor department store, according to a police briefing in the Natick Patch.
Here's the June 13, 2012 report from the Natick Police:
7:42 p.m.: Loss prevention from Lord & Taylorcalled to report they had detained a shoplifter. Zubeidat K. Tsarnaeva, 45, of 410 Norfolk St., Apt. 3, Cambridge, was arrested and charged with larceny over $250 (women's clothing valued at $1,624), and two counts of malicious/wanton damage/defacement to property.
Tsarnaeva shared an address with the two brothers suspected in the Boston Marathon bombings. The first bombing suspect, Temerlan Tsarnaev, 26, was shot and killed by Boston police Thursday night. A manhunt is underway for the second suspect, Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, 19.
The family is believed to be of Chechnan origin. An "a" is typically added to Russian female surnames.

It looks like they are rotten to the core. It will be interesting to see more about the circumstances of how they left the Russian Confederation and what they have been doing in the US since.

Larry Aaronson, who said he was a neighbor of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, described the young man in glowing terms in an interview with CNN. He said Tsarnaev told him he was Chechen, and had been in Chechnya during the war there.
“He was grateful to be here,” Aaronson said. “He was compassionate. He was caring. He was jovial…. He was a lovely, lovely kid.”
Aaronson said he realized he sounded like the stereotypical neighbor who praises someone suspected of a terrible crime. But “this is what I know him to be,” he said. “He was a wonderful kid. He was an outstanding athlete…. He was never a troublemaker in school.”

Reports which are still not fully confirmed say the terrorists demanded Russia’s army leave Chechnya, and bargained the country’s “security in return for independence” of the southern republic. Shamil Basayev, a prominent Chechen separatist leader at that time, claimed responsibility for the act.
Three thirsty, hungry days full of fear followed. Most of the captured people were children, some of them toddlers. Later, the terrorists would claim the hostages went on a hunger strike to support their “liberation movement.” Medics, food, water – none was allowed to the scene. Nor did the terrorists permit anyone to recover dead bodies.
Okay. So, if she was here on a green card, like we’ve heard so far, why wasn’t her butt booted out of here with the larceny conviction? If we fall for this amnesty, we’ll only get MILLIONS more like this.
The world is laughing at the utter stupidity of the USA letting people like this in here in the FIRST PLACE!!! Did she come in on the wave of Islamists that Bush, Rove and Grover Norquist ushered in?
Anyone even considering another amnesty ought to be booted out with her!
