According to her profile on the popular networking website Linked In, Karon Wright describes her professional aspirations this way:
Eager to bring students into the twenty-first century using a unique combination of education and counseling experience coupled with thirteen years of healthcare background in physical medicine and rehabilitative counseling.
Those publicly stated aspirations seem to be in direct conflict with a comment allegedly made by the school counselor a comment that has gotten her in some very hot water.
Ms. Wright was a counselor at Andrew Jackson Middle School in Grand Prairie ISD. That was until the district announced that she has been immediately relieved of all duties. The action was reportedly taken after an offensive remark written from her Facebook page (now removed from the web) was posted on WFAA-TVs Facebook page. The statement in question referenced to the tragedy in West, Texas.
WFAAs report states that the school district was quite clear in how they viewed the statement attributed to Ms. Wright, calling it highly offensive, insensitive to the tragedy happening to our friends and neighbors in West, and disrespectful to the very human bond that we share with the people of West, especially those who have lost their loved ones.
The school has also removed any reference to Karon Wright from their Staff section on the website.
And so what was the comment?
I hate it when they don’t actually tell you what was said.
It’s been posted here.
"Its amazing how the "whites" get angry when Obama speaks. Oh well....its most of the whites who is getting blown away. So they will soon be wiped from the earth. Lol"
See post #5.
One of Eric Holder’s people who wished White people would be blown off the earth.
My question is: Does "relieved of all duties" mean her azz was fired? I'll bet not.
“I wuz hacked !”, she says.
My wife showed me this post from FB that was reposted by someone else who took issue with it/her.
Nasty, racist bitch.
Her statement was offensive, but it always bothers me when people can lose jobs for their free speech, when that speech is deemed offensive.
If there is any evidence that her beliefs impacted her performance of her job, then fire her. If she had said this at work, fire her.
Of course, I know people get fired all the time for things they put on facebook.
And, I’ll bet she is getting paid too. She might sue the schoolboard if not....
But its white racism thats the scourge of the nation. Sheesh
“its most of the whites who is”
I see shes a real rocket scientist.
More from The Blaze...
The sequence of events:
Thursday, WFAA posted the text of President Obamas comments on the deadly explosion in West, Texas.
Reportedly, the TV stations Facebook page was also hit with some negative comments about the president.
Ms. Wright allegedly responded with the comment posted above one that has since caused her to be relieved of all duties at the school.
Other Facebook users took offense to Wrights comments and started sharing them across social media platforms, also including the name and email of her supervisor at the school.
Before the day was out, Karon Wrights employment was in question and the offensive comment removed from the WFAA Facebook page.

Ms. Wright sees things differently, claiming that her account was hacked. TheBlaze has been unsuccessful in our attempts to make contact with Ms. Wright through her Linked In account and other sources. We would like to know more about the alleged hacking of her Facebook account.
In a statement to the ABC TV affiliate, Wright wrote;
My Facebook account was hacked and the statement that was made is not of my character. I am a school counselor who will never 1) jeopardize my family, 2) jeopardize my job, and 3) jeopardize the trust of the students, parents, staff, faculty, and administration of GPISD.
WFFAs website is also reporting that she has hired an attorney and filed a complaint with Facebook.
HA HA
WHAT A MAROON.
Agreed.
White Genocide - LOL.
The “Final Solution” was also insensitive.
