Patrick said Boston residents should stay home and "shelter in place."

Is his family "sheltering in place," or, IOW, cowering behind a locked door? Or are they protected by police armed with automatic weapons?
I know what I'd prefer.
But MA gun ownership has declined steadily for the last 10 years, because of a policy that allows town police chiefs to make it very difficult for citizens to own guns.
Massachusetts Gun Licensing Requirements
Over this same time period, the murder rate has risen dramatically.
Crime soared with Mass Gun law.
Deval Patrick is a moonbat woos, and Obama protege.
I’m okay with the shelter in place but its not sustainable. In a few hours, people are going to be out and about. I give it until 4 p.m. today. If they don’t get the T going again, there could be some serious protests. And anyone who has ridden the T knows that it is full of young adults with back packs.
Deval says “stay in place” but Barack said train for next year’s Marathon. What should I do?
Call out the militia!
Betcha there are lots of Bostonians wishing they had guns.
And I wish they had guns also.
In Texas, it’d be open season.
All of Boston is basically a gun-free zone so there is basically nothing left to do but run away and hide.
“Patrick said Boston residents should stay home and “shelter in place.”
Hopefull with their weapons!!! :)
Run in place?
That settles it. I’m taking classes and applying for my CCW permit.
BTW, are these Chechen practitioners of the ROP?
that is folking ridiculous, I would tell them to take a long walk off a short pier, I am going on with my stuff. eff you po po and FBI and Homeland Suckurity, I will go out if I want to.
As I watch this scene in MA, I am appalled at the helter-skelter procedures I am seeing.
I watch official vehicles, all with their flashers on, dozens of them, scores of them.
Reminds me of the scenes in Blues Brothers, where the police cars clog the streets, all in a row, chasing a single fugitive vehicle. Or like the LAPD response in Die Hard.
Then I see cops everywhere with nothing to do, bristling with arms and armor, it’s a carnival-like atmosphere. It looks like they’re enjoying themselves in their rarely-worn get-up. Most of them can be seen on their cellphones, talking or texting. All so very festive.
Overkill. Over-react; just the type of “stir-the-ant’s-nest” reaction I would suspect gets muslims off when they see us do it.
It matches the 24-hour news cycle speculative coverage on TV.
If we learned anything from the Boston Bombing:
1) Every house should have at least one gun in it to protect yourselves from terrorists and or nuts on the loose.
Imagine yourself in Watertown knowing a kook is on the loose and you need to lock yourself in your house and you had NO protection?
The suspect is wounded and has a suicide bomb vest on. His brother was killed when he detonated his suicide vest while trying to take a police officer with him.
Yes.
If it was up to the liberals the people would shelter in place holding a water balloon in one hand and a toilet plunger in the other.
There is a war going on in the streets of Cambridge and Boston and they are to stupid to call in the military. Both would be dead by now.
Legal question to the Freeper community.
How constitutional is a “shelter in place” or “remain in doors” or “evacuate” order?
Can one legally refuse such an order?
How does one know when such an order is ... an order. As opposed to say a recommendation?
Lets say you were sick and needed to go to the doctor or hospital. Or if you need to go care for a sick relative. What if you needed to pick up medication?
Or the inverse
Government tells you to evacuate, you decide to “bug in” because you have prepped?
