Well, if a person is armed (red states) they have the option of challenging a suspicious person and suppressing public violence without depending upon government. Persons in most blue states however are not armed and therefore have almost no ability to confront potentially violent perpetrators. They are effectively reduced to waving a white hanky and waiting for the state to protect them.

One’s rights are derived from God.

The other’s rights are derived from the state.

It seems very clear to me that violent criminals and terrorists will gravitate towards the latter for better chances of success against their intended targets -the citizenry.

Ergo, these don’t happen and are less likely to occur in red states.

IMO it’s better to be an “ass” than an ignoramous.

Plenty of us are armed. I have gun and so do most of my friends and relatives. Not to mention all the gang bangers in the inner city. We have as much guns any red state.
