Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said today the FBI is seeking to locate people in video from the marathon, but she added she isn’t calling them suspects.
Without providing details of what the video shows, Napolitano told the House Homeland Security Committee that “there is some video that raised the question” of individuals the FBI would like to interview.
"We have been collecting video from a variety of sources, as you might imagine, at the finish line of the Boston Marathon,” Napolitano said. “There’s lots and lots of video. There is some video that has raised the question of those that the FBI would like to speak with.
I wouldn’t characterize them as suspects under the technical term. But we need the public’s help in locating these individuals.”

I was about to comment that Pres. Bush called the governor of LA. several times begging him to ask for assistance. The Gov. refused. It’s US law that the president can’t send in troops w/o the governor’s request, otherwise Zero would have taken over all 50 states by now.
She already helped one guy flee back to Saudi Arabia.

Several times in the last few years there have been nation wide excercises involving Feds and local LEOs and first responders. Even to the extent of having victim actors.
Recall the big TSA/HLS announcement of the ‘crack’ VIPR teams for big public events. Where dey at?
The evening of the attack the UK Telegraph posted a photo album among which was one of an unidentified roof top on the course route. There were two visible uniformed snipers at the roof corner. One was on station at the gun. Second one was standing back fromthe low parapet, with his scoped rifle resting on the roof several feet away at the other wall of the corner.
While they and their agency and location were not identifed, it’s SOP now for rooftop observers and countersnipers at high profile/high value peep events. One can assume that the finish line with VIPs and media cluster have been previously identified as high potential targets/kill zones.
The next day that photo was in the memory hole. Poof, gone.
So where were the Boston, state, and federal officers?
Having donuts somewhere? Cause judging by the results and immediate reaction only the street cops, EMTs, race medics and “civilians” responded.
I suspect there was all too much strutting and turf claiming at mgmt levels creating the typical roadblocks and lags present in every overblown bureaucracy.

If I had ANY information that could help solve this case, and I don’t, there is no way in hell that I would call Janet Napolitano or ANY of her people.

The Stafford Act. Gov Blanco was supposed to send a Stafford letter to Bush detailing exactly what she wanted, and it did not include soldier boots on the ground or FEMA, so they could not go in. Storm was Sunday iirc and it wasn’t until Thursday that she sent the right authorization. I’ve wondered if her Dem friends had her screw it up deliberately so the Dems could gain power over the GOP (what’s a few lives when you can get more power?).

It's more likely that they've already left the country, and this delay makes it even more likely.

The sheeple won’t remember the video not being relased. All they’ll remember is that the case was so difficult they asked the public to help. When it’s not solved, then it’ll be because the public wasn’t able to ID the perps and Janet gets another free pass.
