Yes, the ammo purchases have been completely debunked.

I have no idea about the vehicles, but my guess is that was a bunch of nonsense too. Along with the 30,000 drones report that was obviously BS.

I would say Napolitano proves her self to be an idiot, yet again, for uttering this. There are conspiracy nuts that will buy into anything. There are tens of thousands of 9-11 truthers who believe the US government was behind 9-11, there are Sandy Hook nutters who think it didn't really happen or deformed, satanist children are involved, folks that believe fluoridation is a huge plot, people who think jet contrails are destroying the atmosphere, etc. We are in a globalized world where dopey conspiracies can gain ground rapidly, DHS should have shot down these claims sooner.
The DHS has about 16 or so of those vehicles nationwide.
