Suddenly, it seems that the terror attack on our consulate in Benghazi last September may become relevant all over again. Yesterday afternoon, CBS Sharyl Attkisson reported that a number of whistleblowers had emerged to talk to the House Oversight Committee, in news that may have slipped under the radar of other emerging (and non-emerging) developments in the Boston Marathon attack story:
"CBS News has learned that multiple new whistleblowers are privately speaking to investigators with the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee regarding the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attacks on the U.S. compounds in Benghazi, Libya."
"The nature of the communications with the whistleblowers and their identities are not being made public at this time. But in response, the Oversight Committee yesterday sent letters to the three federal agencies involved: the CIA, the Defense Department and the State Department."
(snip)
Ever since the initial probe stalled a few months ago, many have wondered why the administration hasnt made the survivors of that night available to House investigators. Some have also wondered why those survivors havent come forward on their own, but if they still work in intelligence agencies, they may not have been allowed to do so. These new whistleblowers may or may not be the Benghazi survivors, but clearly theyre coming from within the intel community and Issas letter strongly suggest that they are pointing fingers upstairs.

Obama' bad week just got worse....
But what difference does it make?

Impeach the b@STURD AND HIS MINIONS.
Huff, puff, cry, cave. Repeat as necessary.
I have heard far too many stories about ISSA getting ready to pounce only to watch it disappear.
I have to agree with some of the responders - Issa is a big disappointment - get results or get gone.
she may be leaving CBS soon if her contract is not renewed link
oh now it becomes important...terrorists hit the homeland and someone’s political career is on the verge of being dumped...Washington DC and the elected leaders make me sick...of those who are qualified for office - never seek it because of the MSM and thankless job that it is...it’s about SERVICE to the NATION - not one’s self!
WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE???
As a former intel guy, betrayal is bad. Betrayal by the people who sent you in and told you they had your back is inestimably worse. I hope Issa sticks to his guns and the shameful conduct that appears to have occurred is brought into the harsh light of day.
Those are my feelings also. Wasn’t Issa going to straighten out Fast and Furious? What ever happened to that. Now we have our Government running guns to muslim brotherhood Rebels in Syria causing Benghazi.
In Egypt our government doesn’t even hide their support of the Muslim Brotherhood, we send them F-16’s and tanks.
I have no faith in Issa or any othe Senator after they refuse to even have an investigation into the background of Hussein Obama.
Obviously the mainstream media will not touch this. Is there any chance that justice will be done?
Which other of our representatives even ‘makes any noise’?
Boehner can't kneel fast enough....
Hope they show Hillar what difference it does make. Nuke her presidential hope in the process.
