U.S. Ambassador to Egypt Accused of Breaking Sharia Law

The U.S. Ambassador to Egypt, Anne Patterson, is being accused of some outlandish behavior and remarks. Last week, several Egyptian papers and websites, including Al Dostor, reported that Dia al-Din al-Garahi, a human rights lawyer and president of the Justice Center for Freedoms and Media, submitted a complaint to the Attorney General accusing Patterson of libel and defamation of the Egyptian people and making statements that are likely to disturb society and threaten Egypts security.
According to Report 935 of the Attorney General, the American Ambassador, after drinking alcohol in contradiction to Islamic Sharia law, said that she rules Egypt and that the Egyptian people are under her authority, that she controls them like a puppet, and that the Egyptian people have no idea of what is transpiring around them.
The report further adds, citing one Dr. Latif Shaker, a Palestinian writer living in America, that the U.S. ambassador had earlier said that the Jews will return to Egypt in 2013 and that they are the masters of the earth; that Egypt will go bankrupt during this year and Egyptians will turn to the United States to save them from famine and poverty. The report further accuses Patterson of saying that the land of Egypt belongs to the Jews, for it was theirs originally, and that the Jews were kicked out of Egypt after building the pyramids and DNA analysis reveals that King Tut was a Jew.
Apparently the Palestinian Shakers claims were made earlier this year, for the following press release appears on the U.S. Embassy in Cairo website:
Statement on Falsehoods in the Media
Online and media reports claiming that the U.S. Ambassador to Egypt, Anne W. Patterson, made statements to the website of the Israeli newspaper Maariv asserting that Israel has the right to Egyptian land are completely false. The Ambassador has never conducted an interview with Maariv and never made any of the reported statements. We encourage journalists to call our press office (which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week) to check the facts about U.S. Government policies, activities and statements before publishing stories about the United States.
Regardless, the accusationswhich certainly seem to fit the war is deceit paradigmhave now been formally filed with Egypts Attorney General and only time will tell what, if anything, will come of it in the new Egypt.
This would be out of character for any ambarrassador from the US regardless of whom sent her. IMO, it is a total falsehood planted to whip up sentiment against the US.
Just look at what was said and consider she is speaking for Obama? Anyone speaking for his eminence would have said Eqypt owns Israel, not the other way around.
Total BS IMO. This gives one an idea how smart our government has been giving these dung sitters weaponry above the level of a blow gun.
She’s an “O” appointee. What she does and says will always reflect on “O” and on us.
Making the US look bad, well... that’s the culture of this Administration... now matter how it is achieved.
That’s the way I took it.
2. They can make up whatever they want. We won’t contracdict them.
3. Sending a woman to be ambassador to a country run by the Muslim Brotherhood is as smart as sending an openly homosexual diplomat on a covert mission to a city that flies the Al Qaeda flag.
Ruh Roh....
To hell with Sharia Law and the horse it rode in on.
Read my tagline.
I guess she’ll have to put on her burqa and have her husband drive her to court to answer their charges
Seriously?
We send a homosexual ambassador to Libya and a female to Egypt. Has she spoken out against the epidemic of rape against Egyptian women? No, guess not.
what can go wrong when we show so much western respect for fundamentalist “culture”?
maybe she ought to go walk arounbd Tahrir Square and talk to the people...
oh. wait.
maybe she ought to go walk arounbd Tahrir Square and talk to the people...
oh. wait.
I’m sure a prisoner exchange with the blind Sheik will resolve this. On second thought...NO!
Sounds like a typical State Department senior staffer, but unless her name happens to be Cleopatra I'm sort of skeptical.
What happened to “diplomatic immunity”?
These towel heads come over here and run people down with their cars, and get a free ticket home.
Send all these bugs back to their desert.
She didn’t have to go all the way to Egypt to get this kind of “human rights commission” abuse from a star chamber. All she had to do was enroll in any US college or university and claim to be a Christian.
Do we even need an Embassy in Egypt?
Its a rhetorical question - but on the other hand, do “relations” with Egypt matter one iota?
Egypt has NOTHING of interest to the USA - Little trade, no investment, no resources. They are a basket-case - who only have illiterate jihadies to offer the world. Their economy is likely going to get a lot worse as well. The only consideration is how much trouble they can make for Israel, and even then, I think they Israelis can handle Egypt fairly easily.
As an 0bama Administration Arrogant Pig she may have said/done all of that.
I wouldn’t necessarily believe the characterization of the Ambassadors opinion of Israel despite the fact that it comes from a palestinian living in America.
