Go back and look. Sanford had some supporters. But I remember a sizable group warning against him. Basically, they said he was a nampy pamby, limp-wristed, unwilling to fight, give up, conservative. There were some specific issues they talked about, but it was long enough ago, I don't remember. You don't remember all the issues people were critical of him for? There were Freepers from his state who had specific issues with him.

But, all that said, it doesn't really matter how he voted back then, because that's what Jenny was telling him what to do, and she isn't telling him what to do.
