Thanks for the live link - pretty much confirms it afaic.

Back when I worked security for a major generating station on a coastal Island around ‘77-’78 we were concerned with terrorism even then.
Remember a guy by the name of “LeVasseaur” - he had an accomplice but I don’t recall his name - they were associated with the WU IIRC and were raising hob all over at the time.

When the Union went out on strike (and Unions are seldom above sabotaging their employers when disgruntled) they put me out at a substation - remote area off of a rural back road completely surrounded by trees and fields; a sniper’s dream. INcredibly vulnerable.

I just so happened to bring a .30-06 Springfield rifle along with me to augment the old worn out .38 S&W “Victory” revolver they issued.
Felt like a sitting duck.

When I was outside doing the rounds, I kept moving, and otherwise hunkered down.
Only comfort knowing that Union guys usually won’t kill cops - even of the rental variety, and I had a pretty good relationship with most of the workers.

Hadjis, however, are a whole ‘nuther brand of critter.

Our military ought to be back home guarding critical infrastructure like this - or at least have NG / reserve guards posted like they did in WW-II. You & I both know that ain’t happening though.

Not until after it’s too late.

Don’t forget the “Pyro Jihad” as the forests dry out.
I’m expecting a lot of wildfires to be “Acts of Allah” or “Arab lightning”. Those can do as much damage as any bomb, if not more... and they know it.
