If you’re looking for someone to come on your program and bash conservatives – especially in the wake of an incident such as Monday’s Boston Marathon bombing – the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Mark Potok is your man.
On CNN’s Piers Morgan Live Tuesday, Potok disgracefully said the perpetrator of Monday's attack likely wasn't a member of the "radical right" because the target wasn't "black people or Jewish people or gay people or Muslims" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

They’ll insist that he’s a right-winger because the target was Bostonians, makers of Teddy Kennedy’s never-ending tenure, John Kerry the Vietnam Vet who barely was in Vietnam but won’t shut up about it, and Harvard.
For the record, the only “hard” antisemitism (as in, getting my head whacked with a paving stone, pushed down stairs, etc) I’ve experienced in this country has been from: blacks, arabs or muslims, or drunken Irish guys in Boston all of whom were undoubtedly Democrats.
Drove from Florida to San Diego to see the USA and only had a bad experience in Houston (blacks who made catcalls).
