If I needed any further evidence that Potok is full of beans, that right there sealed the deal. Anti-semitism in its modern incarnation is *overwhelmingly* the province of the far, far left. One need only listen to a Cindy Sheehan type, or look at the signs at a typical leftwing gathering to see the virulent hatred of Israel and her people.
