Indeed, and for 104 years! Astounding.
His magnificent voice is now singing with the angels.
I geuss I got to see him sing twice in Cincinnati in 1978 and then again at the Georgia Dome in 1994 (also saw Johnny Cash on that sunday evening. I dont have any Shea CD’s so I’ll have to go out and buy some. I did that same thing after Cash died. He always seemed like a kind and dear man who loved God.
One of those names that always comes to mind when you think of great music. God bless him.

A truly great singer, and a fine Christian gentleman.
wow... i heard him sing at a Billy Graham event back around 1997... he had a deep voice...
OH NO! :(
At 104 he had a full life.....he’s now singing with the Angels
May God bless his loved ones with comfort and peace.
George was the man. No one could belt it out like him. What a good run, enter into your heavenly reward my friend.
Good for him.
Rest in Peace as I recall your wonderful voice singing “What a friend we have in Jesus”, “Amazing Grace”, “Sweet by and by” and so many others....
thank you... that was very nice...
Awesome voice. Our family first began listening to him and watching Billy Graham back in the 1950’s. Was a favorite of my parents - am sure he and my dad are singing together in heaven now.
I keep wondering how long God will allow us to keep Billy Graham on this earth. Lord knows we could certainly use a dozen more just like him.
May his family find peace. Thanks for the song links to all.
RIP.
