Its not often that the confiscation crowd is nakedly honest, but when they think theyre just preaching to the choir, they might forget the heathens are listening, too.
That was the case in Sundays New York Times column by Maureen Dowd when Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy blurted out the real goal of the gun grabbers: Getting weapons out of your hands means getting the vote out of your hands, too.
Youre not going to disenfranchise the NRA overnight, Murphy told Dowd.
Disenfranchise. This isnt the usual, misty-eyed if it will save one life claptrap; and the speaker isnt some unshaven Occupier who doesnt know where his next bath is coming from.
An elected United States senator wants to deprive a substantial part of our citizenry of the right to vote. Substitute any other group in this country for NRA in that sentence and try to imagine the Times or any other American newspaper quoting it approvingly.

I’m just looking. Somehow I don’t think I have to worry about her digging me.
Why not combine the two sports? Chicks in bikinis should be worked in somehow too.
Indeed my friend!

lamar and corcker from TN are in the cross hair’s for firing for their vote for this crap.Bombs just killed 30 wounded hundreds, where is the ban on them?
I am the mother of a child who was murdered with a fence post for thrills to see what it felt like to kill. Where is the ban on fence post? Where is the ban on shoe strings?
As Heston said, pry it out ouf my cold dead hands.
This is not just happening in TN, but in all death penalty cases the victim’s family gets shafted. PLEASE help by contacting the senators and reps not just of TN but your own state.
INJUSTICE FOR NICKI

There is so much INJUSTICE in our so called ‘justice system’ it stinks to high heaven that inmates and their families have more rights than the victims or their families.
I call on our legislators on behalf of victims and their families to right this wrong.
Unless it happens to one of you our laws do NOT get changed unless VICTIMS make an loud stink about the inequality of treatment. Put yourselves in the victims family shoes for once.
I write on behalf of Debbie Reich the mother of raped and murdered 8 year old Ashley Nichole Read who was raped and strangled to death with her own shoe lace on March 16, 1990, and thrown away, by http://www.legislature.state.tn.us/David Keen who currently is on death row on appeal. This is not his first appeal. The murder took place March 6, 1990, it is now April 12, 2013, a very long time to wait for justice and to have to fight for it and pay to travel and lodge too.
WHEN HIS FAMILY TRAVELS FOR ALL THESE ENDLESS APPEAL HEARINGS, THEY ARE TOTALLY REIMBURSED ALL FOOD, LODGING, LOSS OF WAGES AND TRAVEL EXPENSES.
Where her mother is NOT accorded equal treatment under the law. It is left to her to FOOT THE ENTIRE BILL for ALL EXPENSES INCLUDING LOSS OF PAY AND SHE COULD BE FIRED FROM HER JOB FOR TAKING TO MUCH TIME OFF FOR THESE APPEALS, this is not fair or equal. Especially since she does not earn a high salary to have to NOT ONLY FIGHT FOR JUSTICE FOR her 8 YEAR OLD RAPED AND MURDERED DAUGHTER, but the bill for traveling to the hearings.
In Memory of Ashley Nichole Read forever 8

There’s a whole bunch of good ones there. :)
People in TN pretend to be really conservative in the mold of Davy Crockett. But they vote for the likes of Estes Kefauver, Al Gore, Sr., and Jr., Bill Brock, James Sasser, Lamar Alexander, Bob Corker. So where’s the conservative? And don’t say “Fred Thompson.”
Theres a whole bunch of good ones I’ve never seen before either.
