These acts don't rise to the level of Bronze Star or Soldier's Medal heroism, IMHO, but I would think that some of those troops qualify for the ACM (Army Commendation Medal).

And, all who made the "Tough Ruck" run deserve at least a letter of commendation from their commanders.

If these were my Soldiers, I would have a DA 638 (award paperwork) for a Soldier’s Medal moving up the chain by COB Friday.
