The picture is in the area of the second explosion. The bag has water bottles, probably...woman is holding some. Post mortem shows the second bomb was behind the barricades.
Yes, I have seen that mentioned in the thread. He seems to be glancing towards the guy at ground zero also.
The thing is with those pressure type reaction bombs is that once they are activated by combining the chemicals, no one can be certain how long it takes till the pressure overcomes the container. I wonder if the dead Chinese guy is the guy walking in the photo, that is, if this photo was right before the explosion.
Hey cool, you can walk right onto the sidewalk on Streetview by clicking the double arrow! This internet thing may take off yet. This is crazy; Google stuck their tripod almost in the exact spot of the bomb.
Doing this, I can look almost straight down on the grate; it sure doesn’t look like there is any kind of hole to place anything under the grate so I’m going to have to go with on top of the grate.
More than just a few guys would be my guess.
Yes, now based on Streetview and the pic in #129, I think the bomb was on top of the grate right where the big guy in the blue-grey sweatshirt is standing and the force of the blast smashed and imbedded BBs onto the grate.
Not only that but why are the injured not thrown backward toward the buildings?
The perspective of the two photos is slightly different as you can see the white line in the road on the second photo but not in the first photo.
Pic 131 - Bottom of picture, toward left, guy in white coat. No carry seen. Looks to be same or similar person mentioned as between the brick columns, in first picture of mnehring's. First pic of mnehring's of person has some sort strap on right shoulder suggesting some sort of carry. Then pic 131 - no strap suggesting no longer carrying something. Have both of the pictures been examined to determine whether or not the same person? Appearance wise .. the person looks similar in both pictures.
Going back to 129.
I see what you are seeing. Also will mention picture 131 and post #190.
If you do an about face, you can see a bank across the street which likely has a lot of cameras.
Could be that they are looking in there for forensic evidence of the bomb that may have fallen into the grating.
on picture 129 - see person in white coat. Bottom left of picture in front of person with black backpack and light orange shirt or coat. In front of person in white coat is person in green hat and blue coat. To the right is person in red and dark hat. Female coming toward camera with something blue. There is some color of yellow and green at focal point of location am speaking of where person in white coat appears. Person with face either moving down the street away from camera or walking sideways toward tree and mailbox location.
*Referenced sentence is last sentence of prior post ... Person with face either moving down the street away from camera or walking sideways and toward tree and mailbox location.
Kilroy was here.
Yes, it's possible.
Okay, that was the easy part. Gonna take a short break and come back and see if there is something else and focus in a different area of these three pictures or bring other pictures into mix.
I’m sorry. Upon further review you are right about the first picture not being “moments” before the blast as it says in the title of the article. There is a faint shadow next to the tall lamppost at the edge of the street on the right side of the second photo, and its angle is different than the shadow in the first photo.
In fact the reporter in the article’s video first says “seconds before” and then corrects herself saying that, “We do know that the first picture was taken some time...uh...it could been within an hour and then the second picture though was taken seconds after the explosion.”
