The United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers is reportedly the first union to officially call for the repeal of the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare. The health care law is prompting some serious buyers remorse in Big Labor, which worked hard on behalf of the administration to pass it:
The unions statement can be found here. The full text is below:
United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers International President Kinsey M. Robinson issued the following statement today calling for a repeal or complete reform of President Obamas Affordable Care Act (ACA):

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Kudos to the roofers...maybe from their lofty vantage point, they are seeing more clearly than other goonions.
Can someone please post the “Ha-Ha” kid from the Simpsons ?
Why do that when they can just get an exemption from their lord & master?
Union folks always willing for the other guy’s ox to get gored... funny how their tune changes when they realize other guy’s ox is yoked with their own...
BFD! All of those boogar eaters probably voted for him and every other rat bastard on the ballot.
They just want repeal from the taxes not the services. Obamacare will never be repealed.
Foxhole religion.
Now, the unions I want to see get upset and stomp their feet are the truckers unions. Absolutely NOTHING moves in this country without trucks being involved and one stage or another.
My fantasy is that the truckers refuse to hall anything to or from a blue state (except medical needs) until Obamacare is repealed. If they agreed to hall in the blue states only 2 days a week, I don’t think it would take a month before that monster was dead and gone.
They deserve no kudos at all
They’re just unhappy they didn’t get the waivers some other unions did.

Unionized trucking is a trivial amount of the total transportation picture these days. Other than UPS, I’m not sure how many there even are.
The Teamster organized trucking companies got wiped out when trucking was deregulated in the 80s.
The RNC should be all over this.
I sure wouldn’t be able to tell that by what I see on the freeways all across our country.
I don’t understand your comment.
Can you list the unionized truck lines you’re referring to?
Tell you what, Mr. Union guy...it’ll never happen as long as you and your brothers keep voting the Dem ticket every two years.
LOL. Suck it, unions—you guys asked for it!
If all these unions, various companies, and the majority of private citizens want Obamacare gone, why do we still have it?
Not all truckers are union members.
all obamacare exemptions expire in 2014...that should put some union health benefits in “Cadillac Plan” status.
They’ll be uniting with United.
