A buddy of mine works at AA headquarters and he says that they are freaking out there over a outage in the reservation system. He says that they are grounding all flights globally. They can't figure out what's wrong and suspect it may be cyber terrorism.
Just got this text from him...
“Possible terrorism... None of our applications function, including Aatms, ims, sales link...”
Govt cant let those white, Christian, gun owning, Tea Party members whom bombed the Boston Marathon get away to their tax haven countries of refuge! /sarc

As someone with more than 800K miles on American, I can assure you this will be the first passenger service improvement in more than a decade.
HQ is in Ft. Worth a little southwest of DFW airport. Headquarters employees aren’t unionized.
Not quite - Windows is bad, but we can't blame this on them. I believe that AA runs Sabre on IBM mainframes.
