Boston police and a cadre of federal officials descended on an Ocean Avenue apartment complex in Revere last night.
In addition to two Boston Police K-9 units and a bomb squad unit, a large contingent of federal agents from the FBI, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, as well as Homeland Security investigations and state police had assembled at the two buildings.
It was unclear whether the search was connected to the Boston Marathon bombings. Tight-lipped agents said nothing to assembled media. Worried building residents said they were left in the dark.
Marcus Worthington, 24, a building resident said no one has told him what was happening.
“I started noticing the cars, the Taurus there and that one about 5,” Worthington said. “We were thankful we decide not to go down. It’s best not to jump to conclusions.”
Worthington’s girlfriend Whitney Drake, 24, was concerned.
“It’s never a good thing to see all of these agencies. It’s more than a local problem,” Drake said.
Revere Fire Department engine and ladder arrived with Cataldo Ambulance service arrived about 10:30 p.m.
Officials had no comment when asked by reporters what was happening.
Boston Police Crime Scene Response unit which collects evidence following major crimes arrived and two members of that unit took several brown paper bags, normally used to store evidence taken from the scene, into the building.

It is good advice, but I find myself constantly wondering, and wishing to know more. It is such a shocking event. I suppose matters will become clear over the next few days.
Where in Boston does Obama’s illegal alien Muslim uncle live? Does he have an alibi?
Who knows , the bomber/s may turn out to qualify for a pathway to citizenship under the soon to be passed new immigration laws.
It bonestly wouldn’t surprise me given that so many illegals are deported multiple times before being caught for killing or raping someone....
Your city was bombed, then you notice something unusual, so you decided to sit around and maybe watch, but not too interested, lest you become involved.
It's like some people have a built in deathwish...

Actually, no, it really is a local problem. What if, perhaps, you've got a neighbor or former neighbor who thought that it'd be really nifty to build bombs in your building. Maybe even leave a few booby traps for any officers who show up later. Is this now a local problem?
Seriously, I know I'm nuts for staying around in the Republic of California (least I've got good company with JimRob...), but listening to some of these people, and I start to think that Jerry Brown might just be only mildly insane.
And what the hell is so secret? What, the bomber might find out that you're searching his home? Oh, yeah, that's a big mystery with all the television cameras and helicopters around. These 'tight lipped' officers need to stop playing games and actually explain it. Because there's a massive difference between not telling a reporter where you're going to go search, and what you're doing when you've gotten there.
They are already registered to vote as democrats.

I have no statistics, but I wonder how many innocent men were hanged or killed in the wild west because of posse's jumping to hasty conclusions or were they more likely than not guilty and justice was swiftly served ?

Early Tuesday, law enforcement officials went to an apartment building at 364 Ocean Avenue in the north Boston suburb of Revere, where they interviewed two men and were seen by reporters removing two trash bags and a duffel bag. It is still unclear what significance, if any this has with regard to the bombing investigation.
I would concur as folks on the sidelines it’s best not to presume. Some assumptions could be made, but only assumptions. IF they have this Saudi student as a person of interest, they may have generated enough for a search warrant of his apartment. As a connection to the bombing, the search would likely be connected. Too many feds involved and of course the bomb squad. As a former cop investigator, I vote for the connection and lean to the supposed Saudi student. The reprehensible act has been done. I just hope it is not “home grown” as some of the media likes to try to assert.

Seems pretty obvious the cops aren’t there for a pizza party after what happened earlier in the day.
You know, it just occurred to me how wonderful it is a shocking event. After 9/11, I had no idea of what to expect. Wasn’t sure if we would have daily or weekly or monthly bombings or what.
Suspect has not been charged and he is a patient in the hospital under armed guard. If he is identified as a suspect or charged he will be assigned a lawyer.
