RIP.
This Charlie Wilson was a not-half-bad Blue Dog Democrat, who was a member of the Rural Caucus, Sportsmen's Caucus, and the Steel Caucus. However, he did vote for the Senate version of Obamacare.
Committee assignments:
Financial Services: Subcommittee on Capital Markets, Insurance, and Government-Sponsored Enterprises; Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit
Committee on Science and Technology: Subcommittee on Investigations and Oversight; Subcommittee on Space and Aeronautics
He started out as an undertaker and eventually ran for Congress. He suffered a brain aneurysm in February and seemed to be recovering. RIP.
RIP.
