Full title - "Mystery Texas killings 'solved': Disgraced court official to be charged with murders of Texas district attorney, his wife and assistant DA after they convicted him of theft"
A former justice of the peace is reportedly set to be charged with three murders, including a former Texas district attorney and assistant DA, after he was arrested on Saturday.
Eric Williams, 46, has been arrested by authorities investigating the murders of District Attorney Mike McLelland and his wife, Cynthia, last month - and the fatal shooting of ADA Mark Hasse in late January.
Williams was booked into Kaufman County Jail early Saturday morning for making terroristic threats and 'insufficient bond.' He is being held on a $3million bond.
Sources tell CBS11 that he will be charged with capital murder in the deaths of Mr and Mrs McLelland and the assistant attorney.
Williams had previously been successfully prosecuted by the murdered officials.
Police reportedly zeroed in on Williams after several emails making threats to other county officials were linked to him.

On one of the news reports on the murders (about a week ago), they showed this guy riding his segway around the neighborhood. At one point, he stopped and gave them an interview. He did not come across as guilty, but there was something about him, such hubris, that I instantly did not like him. That rarely happens with me. He just set off alarm bells.
Or an Evangelical Christian, or a US Vet. They’ll surely find a way to “connect” him to DHS’ “Domestic Terrorist List”. He needs to fit their “agenda”, somehow.
Gee the libs and lame stream media had already tried and convicted the Aryan White Brotherhood for these murders.....they were wrong again!
You are exactly right...he exhibited the same cockiness that cop that killed his ex-wives did. Thought he was too smart for the legal system. Delusions of grandeur on display if you ask me.
lol
shocking! /s
Don’t be silly those evil white supremest framed this guy.
Oh yeah!!!!
Where are all the people who thought the Mexican drug cartels put up the Aryan Brotherhood to commit these murders?
BTW, in CA we’ve have cops going after other cops, now in Texas we have other DA’s or court officials murdering DA’s?
If he rides a segway and was public employee in Texas, 99% chance he is a democrat. I would say 100%, but he could also be a green party member.
I’m not ready to buy the official story yet.
The shooter was a justice of the peace??
Boy, that’s a long ways from the Aryan Brotherhood!
Oh yeah!
Former Justice of the Peace arrested
Ya just can't trust anyone nowadays.
A republican, apparently.
"Republican challenger Eric Williams defeated 18-year incumbent Democrat Johnny Perry to win the Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace race in Tuesdays General Election."

Looks vaguely similar to Newman on Seinfeld . . .
What the heck is this clown wearing?
Are those terrycloth Segway clothes?
You got that right...Even the one of the DA victims son was calling this terrorism and all LE should be very concerned...
Seem to be another case of a disgruntled employee.
The judge became a ‘suspect’ hours after it was discovered. The police were doing their job while the media speculated it could be white supremacists or something.
I really hate the media.
“That was my thought, too. However, Kaufman County Observer, a local paper calls him “Republican Justice of the Peace Judge Eric Williams”.”
That piece of information will not serve to increase the number of posts on the thread.
Maybe he knew it was one of his own and didn't want any part of it.
The killer WAS political person or he wouldn’t have had the job he had... WAS HE A DEMOCRAT?
Since it’s not mentioned we can assume he was an active democrat... and the friggin ‘press’ will drop this story like a hot potato...
Where’s the scramble to tie his killing to his political beliefs now? God the jerks at the New York Times are soooo predictable.
