(CHICAGO) (WLS) -- Disgraced former congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. made his first public appearance in months when he sat alongside his father at Saturday morning's gathering of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition.

While Jackson Jr. did not speak, his attorney called on those gathered to call the judge in his case and plead for leniency before his June sentencing for misusing campaign funds.

**SNIP**

"Our judge needs to know, needs to understand, the character and the qualities of this extraordinary congressman," attorney C.K. Hoffler said. "This is the time to let the judge know how important he is to you."

**SNIP**

"The judge, Robert Wilkins, has ties to the Jackson family. And he also has ties to Charles Ogletree, the new lawyer on the case. If he concedes to the family and reduces the sentences dramatically, it looks like he's playing favorites"," she said.

Charles Ogletree was the moderator of “Under Orders, Under Fire” where we learned what POSs Mike Wallace and Peter Jennings were in aiding and abetting the North Kosanese.

this is a struggle to the death between JJ and obama who has allowed this case against the kid of his enemy to go forward. be interesting to know the back story. you know, this could be the reason rahm went back to Chicago, to take care of residual enemies for the won. not to say that JJ and son aren’t on the take, just that there is a continuum of these things, all the politicians are on the take and the amounts don’t add up to that much relatively. remember when JJ said during the campaign he wanted to rip obama?

“sentencing for misusing campaign funds. = THEFT

THEFT = the character and the qualities of this extraordinary congressman,”

Throw in some simmering mental issues and other garden variety assorted criminality and we have THE NEXT SENATOR FROM THE GREAT STATE OF ILLINOIS.

We are in the best possible hands.

"Our judge needs to know, needs to understand, the character and the qualities of this extraordinary congressman,"

A few minutes spent in any crack house will give him a complete understanding.

Jackson Jr will be on the payroll of Rainbow/Push to the end of his miserable life——just like his ‘Daddy”.
