Whites are always to blame in the eyes of black political agitators. Though Tutu (who preveiously called for a white tax) admits that South Africa is worse now under black rule both violence-wise and economically, Tutu still blames South Africa’s problems on the “legacy of apartheid” even though blacks have rules for twenty years now.
We see the same in America with Detroit being a perfect microcosm. When whites fled the wave of violence that came with the 1967 riot and black mayor Coleman Yound taking power in Detroit in the 70s, whites were blamed for the wave of crime and fledling economy that followed because whites left city and took their tax money with them. Recently when the state of Michigan wanted to appoint an emergency financial manager to help bailout Detroit, Detroit’s black leaders (and Jesse Jackson) agrgued that white intereference in Detroit was racist.
Literally, in both America and South Africa, whites are blamed for black poverty and crime when whites are in power and when whites are not in power. And whites are to blame when whites self-segregate, when blacks self-segregate, and when both are integratated.
Why doesn’t some politician have the stones to call these agitators on their obvious BS? Just tell them the truth — people create their communities. If there is more violence and poverty among certain communities it’s because that’s what those communities create for themselves. Apparently, in South Africa, in America, and in points between.
We do not have a politician who can control the language yet. We discuss here all the time on FR. How the progressive left controls the language and even the meaning of words are redefined in the twinkling of an eye. Rush Limbaugh himself eluded to this just last week in one of his monologues.
Now, I may get massively attacked for using this example...but it is the only one I can connect with at the present time. I do a lot of dog training using the clicker training method. When we get a problem dog that is not responding appropriately to the clicker, commands, and behavioral shaping cues due to previous training mistakes ...we have to change the word to get the response we need. So if a dog is not responding to say the command & cue to "leave it." We change to another word with similar meaning, "off." We could use any other word...but the dog will understand that, that particular cue, click equals reward.
In training though, the improper use of the cue and reward will extinguish behavior. Clicking and cuing without praise or reward will have the animal stop performing the behavior. This is why democrats constantly change and evolve the meaning of phrases and words. So in order for a politician to speak up and change peoples minds, to have an effect, which we don't have right now is the reward for the undesired behavior needs to stop and we need to redefine the command and present a higher value reward. What is that higher value reward will tend to vary from dog to dog. Chicken, lamb-lung, cheese...? Or in the case of breaking down the race mindset should we change to rewards like equality vs. liberal fairness, liberty vs. democracy...?
So the race-baiters say blame whitey, the black people blame whitey, and the government rewards them for doing so with assorted incentives which reinforces the negative behaviors. And this is true whether you are talking about blacks, unions, your kids or the employee who sits on their butts all day. As long as they are rewarded for bad behavior, it will continue and nothing that anyone says can change that behavior.
It is very sad that when we talk about our liberal counterparts acting like the democrats lap dogs...well in many ways they truly are like well trained dogs and the democrats 'own' them. So ...we are at a perfect juncture in that the policies of the race-baiters are failing. One would think that this unrewarded or less than desired reward would naturally extinguish these bad choices. But it isn't and in my humblest of opinions is because WE have not changed the command from 'leave it' to 'off.'
