Columnist Ann Coulter, whose work appears weekly on WND, is joining the advisory board of GOProud, the Republican homosexual activist organization whose leaders say they are conservative. The move comes after her controversial decision last fall to speak to the group prompted another conservative conference to withdraw its speaking invitation.
Coulter was promoting Romney many long years before 2012, she started losing people because of it back in 2007.
Romney was her favorite in 2006.
October 2006-O’REILLY: I think it’s going to be Mitt Romney.
COULTER: Actually, of the ones they talk about...
O’REILLY: I think Mitt Romney is the...
COULTER: ... he’s my favorite. It’s somebody out of the blue.”
You don’t need to be so defensive of the disaster called Romney anyway, unless of course you want to protect his influence and credibility with with the GOP for now and future discussions.
Waste of bandwidth...not impressed.
Well said.
Who's "we"? I "simply" want to know who the winner was that she passed up to support Romney.
If you can't name someone who had a better shot, maybe we just drop the whole "she picked a loser" nonsense.
She knew she was picking a loser though. Thats called impulse buying.
If she backed Romney for two election cycles it wasn't impulse buying.
And what's more likely, knowing all that we know about Ann, that she knowingly backed somebody who couldn't win, or that she convinced herself that he could?
Ann’s pick lost ~ you can’t make it go away. She picked a loser.
Apparently he did beat whoever you picked ...
BTW, nobody else was running (other than Paul and he doesn't count)
Anne Coulter has chosen to stick the conservative TEA Party movement in the back, it’s as simple as that. All to sop up some adoration from someone. Bill Maher, probably.
Nationally Romney did as well as McCain and better than the other candidates.
Who was the candidate that you backed who could do better?
“However, Ann’s cracks against Sarah Palin brought on this catfight.”
Agreed, and would add that Miss Coulter’s cracks were not only against Governor Palin. Her comments also unjustifiably besmirched the character of Baroness Thatcher, on the same day of her passing, by imputing to the Baroness a social rudeness and condescending pettiness that was far below the dignity in which the Baroness conducted herself in life.
It's remarkably stupid to convince your own party people to just stay home.
I’d say she punches the right target a good 85-90% of the time. She attacks the Left about as well as anyone, but she has her flaws for sure.
