Uh oh. Has Sen. Harry Reid been getting gun advice from Uncle Joe Biden?
On Thursday, the Senate voted to move forward with gun control legislation. It’s a good thing Reid studied up on the gun-thingy lingo. Speaking on the Senate floor, he brought up the Aurora shooting. The accused shooter’s rifle was reportedly equipped with a 100-round magazine, but here’s what Reid said:
The events of the last few months has been very tragic. People going to a movie theater to watch a movie and they’re gunned down? And more would have been gunned down but for the fact that the man’s 100-clip magazine jammed.

How many people could have been saved if ONE person was carrying a concealed weapon?
And to the libs out there that constantly remind that the shooter was wearing body armor: Even with a bullet-proof vest, getting shot is going to hurt like hell. Moreover, a bullet proof vest will not prevent the actual inertial force of said bullet.
I had a 100-rnd BETA Mag for my Class III AR-15, a year ago, that worked just fine. No jams or problems in several thousand rounds. Sold it to a guy from MD for 2x what I paid for it. He just HAD to have it at any price.
So using RAT logic, 100 round Mags are good because they jam?
I hate being preached to by an elected official or the media that do not even know how to load a firearm.
Therefore Hi-Caps are unreliable and SAVE LIVES!
I know nothing about computers, so I don’t lecture people about how they should be used. Reid, please follow this example, it’s only “common sense”.

Obviously a magazine that holds 100-clips... the question then is "how many rounds to a clip?".

That's correct. The first will stun and knock the shooter off balance. You keep moving towards the target shooting till you get a head shot.
Then NRA should be very proud of itself for supporting Reid.
Loading a magazine with clips guarantees a fail-to-fire every single pull of the trigger...making the weapon nothing more than a pretty rock.
I’m so impressed that Harry has such great concern for the general publics well being! He’s going to so much trouble for us! Overseeing our well being with “Obamacare” AND gun control must be exhausting!!

Thats interesting, say its a stripper clip holding 10 rounds, so that would be a 1000 rounds of projectiles?
Oh and the horror of all of these 100 clip mags being tossed asunder after being used up, millions of unwary citizens could stub their toes or be injured permanently from all of these dropped “clip magazines”.
But then again Shirley it will reach a point where manufacturing cannot keep pace with the billions of spent magazines, so eventually the “all clear” sirens will sound and the citizens of gun free zones can come out from behind their bullet resistant desks and safe rooms.
