I am ashamed to a member of the same party as these turncoat men and women.
I presume the ‘1’ in the number ‘16’ did not print in the headline on my screen. It says ‘6’ Senate Republicans, NOT ‘16’. Maybe the mod can fix that unless it’s just my problem on my screen.
These turncoats are ashamed that real conservatives are in their party.
More than 6?
Here is what I sent to Toomey:
“Senator Toomey, I was shocked and deeply disappointed to learn that you had made a ‘deal’ with Senator Manchin to advance the left-wing Democratic agenda to chip away at the Second Amendment. I am a lifelong conservative Republican. As such, I at least welcome the likes of Senator Casey—you know what you are getting with him and those who think like him. What I find repugnant is a member of Congress who professes to be conservative, then hauls off and joins those who are gleefully shredding the Constitution.
Apparently we didn’t vet you sufficiently after you announced your candidacy. I won’t be voting for you again, and I welcome the search for a primary candidate who is a real conservative.”
“Ugh. We dodged a bullet. If John McCain were president...”
He’s still a senator. Bad enough. And Jeff Flake appears to be his protege. I’m SO ashamed that Arizona has to claim both of them.
You are much more polite than I was. These people deserve nothing but our scorn.

Abortion appears no where in the Constitution. Yet we’re told it’s a right that has to be protected.
If our government protected guns the way they protect abortion you would see:
1) Courts striking down all gun legislation.
2) Media would refuse to air any real arguments against guns. Moreover, Hollywood media heroes would fight against out of control gun regulators.
3) Government would fight any attempts at registering, regulating or tracking fire arms.
4) Laws banning the transport of guns over state borders would be thrown out.
5) People under the age of 18 could buy guns without their parents consent or knowledge.
6) The government would be supplying us all with guns and ammo, regardless of how poor you are.
7) Our schools would teach about guns and gun safety.
8) The government would crack down on protesters outside of gun stores.
9) All gun store records and receipts would be protected from outsiders on the grounds of “privacy”.
Note that most guns never kill or injure anyone.
Most abortions result in someone dying.
People injured or killed by guns include a large age range from 1 year old to 100 years old. Some of these people are injured because they are doing bad things.
People injured or killed by abortion include those who are 9 months and younger. The only crime they are committing is not being out of the womb.
***MORE CHILDREN DIE TO ABORTION EVERY YEAR THAN GUNS***
But no one talks about regulating abortion.
I blame it on the sun and people who have had TIA’s.
We need to stop playing the victim card and blaming the GOP or McCain or Mitt- its OUR fault for sitting idly by.
If/when any of these 16 actually vote for the legislation I will join in condemning them. But I am not sure that “allowing” the Democrats to vote for this is doing them a favor. My hope is that the bill doesn’t pass, but lots of Dem’s are forced to either buck their party or show their true anti-gun colors.

Yeah, I messed up when I copy/pasted. Sorry.
I also emailed Toomey and called him a ‘turn coat’ and that I am now starting to voice my dislike for him as our so called “Republican” senator. He will not be getting my vote and if I can help it, none of the people I associate with will be voting for him.
At least when you vote for a liberal you know what your voting for and personally, I’m getting tired of these so called republicans saying one thing and doing another.
I sure wished I could run for President for just ONE term, there would be alot of people upset and I would need alot of protection because there would be NO welfare, food stamps, sitting around and letting the government support your butt when your able to get a job and work. There would be less taxes, and these ‘aliens’ would be driven to the border and told not to come back and if they did, they would spend the rest of their lives in prison cells, no people they don’t have any rights here, their not Americans.....we need to think about what this great country of ours NEED to be instead of lazy people wanting it their way!!!!
I keep hoping beyond hope that the turncoats are hoping that it fails in the senate or fails in the house.
Vote all these RINOs OUT!!!
