When Jane Fonda was cast as former First Lady Nancy Reagan in Lee Daniels forthcoming film The Butler, some Reagan fans were not pleased. Now, with the biographical due to hit theaters in October, a movement to boycott the movie is gaining some momentum.
Larry Reyes, a Navy veteran and founder of the Boycott Hanoi Jane Playing Nancy Reagan Facebook page has been particularly vocal about the casting decision, given Fondas past frolicking with the enemy during the Vietnam War.
Growing up in a military family I heard my father and uncles talk about what Jane did, so from an early age I knew about her history with the war and how upset veterans were about it. Yet it amazed me that people just turned their backs and kept supporting her exercise videos and movies.

Instead of a headstone we could erect a urinal.
Liberals don’t generally like their own tactics used against them.
I’ve got a life. I rarely even think of that evil traitor, but when I do encounter her name I boycott anything associated with her. I don’t support evil.
Why I thought Janey was deeply apologetic over her stunt in Vietnam? This doesn’t sound very remorseful to me.
What audience do they see for this? Most kids don't even know who either one of them (Nancy or Jane) are. FLOP,BANG, DONE!
The best part of Fonda was shown in the opening credits of Barbarella, and that was a long long time ago, and nothing to do with acting!
Let’s see...the movie has Nancy Reagan in it, so the liberals won’t go see it. It has Jane Fonda in it, so the conservatives won’t go see it. Who invested in this movie? If they burned their money, they would have had a better outcome; they could at least keep warm for a few minutes.
Get a casket, Hanoi Jane.

Turnabout is fair play. Would Ann Coulter being willing to play opposite Jon Voight as Bill and Hillary Clinton in a made-for-Internet movie?
The best part is that Hillary is renowned for having a mean personality and foul mouth when in private, and Coulter could say what she actually said, and have it *beep* censored before it was released.
Everything they acted could have a footnote in the credits at the end of the movie.
Importantly, it would help a lot of people to refresh their negative opinions of Hillary before the next presidential race.
Bingo. If I had a Facebook account, I’d want one with a pledge to p*ss on Jane’s Grave and then sign up volunteers for online, realtime streaming! I wonder how Barbarrella would like about that.
Yes the over 50,000 souls whose names are on "The Wall" would like to get a life too. You treasonous female canine.
When she finally checks out, her final resting place had better be kept secret. I personally know a dozen guys who would empty a 12 pack prior to visiting her head stone.
Wasn’t she whining just last week that she’d go to her grave sorry for her ‘unforgivable mistake’...or what ever BS kind’a words she used to con the people she has been insulting for so long?
Right, Jane... you sound real contrite with that! Go someplace and shut up!
Yes, I understand. People who make choices about the movies they see have no life.
Wait....what?
Jane Fonda, please get an afterlife.
Jane thinks it acting if she keeps her clothes ON.
It's annoying that Teddy Kennedy is in Arlington Cemetery. We have to decide whether expressing our disgust with that evil socialist desecrates hallowed ground or Teddy's presence desecrates the ground and adding organic liquid with nitrogen compounds for natural fertilizer reduces the level of desecration. At least we know that Hanoi Jane has no chance of ending up in hallowed ground.
Vile whore.
Luv it.
