I recently waited 3 months for a 700BDL 30.06. My shop couldn’t procure one even after direct contact with Remington so they refunded my deposit.
Bought a Weatherby instead. It’s a better rifle with nicer finish. This is just another reason I’m glad I made that choice.
I was going to buy me a Remington 700 this year or next for my first bolt action. Looks like that won’t be happening.

We already do. Remington has never recalled the 700 for its trigger problems and they are still selling the rifles with the old triggers. They have come out with a new trigger but you have to pay more for them. Current TV had a documentary on it last night. Its quite obvious Remington does’nt give a flip about its customers.
