She also made my daughter a sundress and a jumper from the fabric and my daughter never had any problems wearing either. No complaints from teachers. LOL.

My mother made us dresses and skirts with matching blouses one year, of a very sturdy but soft cotton. They all had some kind of pattern, but I don't recall what. After that year, I don't think that she had the time or energy. That was just prior to babies #6 and #7.
My sisters and I loved those clothes.
