None of this is should come as a surprise. Tuesday, CNN came out of the closet with an open declaration that "The Most Trusted Name In News" would use two full days of programming as a propaganda push for legislation tightening background checks. CNN has been so good about keeping that promise that this morning a pro-gun control Senator thanked a CNN anchor for his support.
Wednesday morning on "Starting Point," anchors John Berman and Christine Roman hosted Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), one of the two senators responsible for the compromise legislation on background checks.
The segment was disgraceful.
Neither anchor challenged the Senator about a single concern Second Amendment activists have with the legislation. Instead we saw clips of Newtown families (on Piers Morgan, naturally) pleading for gun control and Roman using the old "some say" ploy to claim the legislation wasn't tough enough. The only mention of the NRA was their opposition to the bill.

“And then, appropriately enough, the segment ended with Manchin thanking Berman for his support......By the way, Berman (CNN Anchor) didn’t even flinch after being thanked for taking a side.”
The left has decided that they have tipped the balance. They have taken over the schools an turned out 2+ generations of stupid people wishing for a nanny state.
At this point, the left sees no reason to hide who they are and what they want.
Yet, either of these two media pukes would fight for the right to embed with a bunch of Taliban terrorists stalking American soldiers in Afghanistan hoping to murder them.
And, they would herald their outstanding journolism at the fact.
Does Mike Wallace, Dan Rather, Leslie Stahl, Ed Bradley, Steve Croft ring a bell? They’d give their soul for the story.
Which proves the old adage, there is no such thing as a pro-gun democrat. But I must confess Ol' Manchin came pretty close to having me fooled and did fool a lot of gun owners in the state. As Governor he really did earn his "A" from the NRA, he pushed and signed into law every pro-gun bill crossed his desk.
Unfortunately, in less that two years he seems to have forgotten his roots and become a typical Washington democrat. Word in the local media is that he has delusions of grandeur and is trying to "moderate" himself as a possible democrat "VP" candidate or even a presidential run. You see poor ol' Joe has a lot of "conservative" baggage that he will have to get rid of before the democrat base will give him the time of day, he is (or at least was) pro-life and anti-gay marriage. That's spells doom in the democrat party.
What about his yacht, the Black Tie? Did he have that in West Virginia?
Howard U Student To Rand Paul: "I Want A Government That Is Going To Help Me"
It appears that CNN were the ones that RATTED OUT the Hakken family in Cuba as they arrived in the marina there. Can anyone post anything to disprove this claim ?
No, his "West Virginia" persona was driving around in a beat up pick-up with a gun rack while wearing a plaid shirt and "Mountaineers" cap. Unfortunately, that was enough to fool the voters into thinking he was "one of them" so we are stuck with him until, 2018 at least. And around about 2017 he will probably drag the pickup truck out and put on the flannel shirt, and the idiot voters will instantly forget about the "black tie" yacht and his support of gun control.
Well, to be honest, they were foolish to think that Cuba would give a right-wing American trying to escape a left-wing American government the time of day (heck Cuba must not even have any appeal process, they were shipped back in about 12 hours). However, I bet if they had been a bunch of leftist moonbats who were claimed they were escaping some aspect by the "George W. Bush" government, Cuba would have welcomed them with open arms and made a giant media spectacle out of it.
Elian Gonzales???
We know so little. But what if they stopped and planned on continuing to Belize or Central America, we pre-arrangements elsewhere. We may never know, but the parents were degreed engineers and not stoopid.
Sorry I didn’t know the story, but apparently someone else did know.
