Time to get out of the mid- east all together. Just fire a lazer at these bozos every now and then to keep them in line when they are not destroying one another.
A guy at a factory can make 15,000 rounds in a day. That’s nothing, but 20,000 rifles, that’s a big story. I’m guessing they ended up in on Syria.
The article says “U.S.-origin” rifles. So were they Kuwait rifles we had sold them or were they U.S. military weapons that we were storing in one of our Kuwait bases? I doubt the latter since they said the place was unguarded. We wouldn’t be likely to leave something like that unguarded, but hajis are plenty lazy and stupid enough to do it.
Also, while you have to take reporters’ comments with a grain of salt regarding firearms, it does say “M16s.” We don’t have much in the way of M16s anymore; most of them have been replaced by M4s.
Obama is a whole lot more interested in keeping weapons and ammo out of the hands of patriotic Americans than he is in keeping them out of the hands of terrorists. Considering his objectives, this should be no surprise.
According to this article... no weapons stolen — ammo, etc. stolen.
