Good afternoon/evening, laplata...Wednesday is check printing day. It has been stressful to the max because the system refused to compute the checks with the normal “one button” push. We have almost 1200 employees for this pay run and we had to enter them 8 at a time, sometimes only 2 at a time, or the system got hung up. And it is a one-user procedure, so we couldn’t divvy up the sheets of employees.
Finally the checks are just now printed and the direct deposit file is on the way to the bank. Whew!! Now to check the outcome (normally done before printing the checks). I am already finding problems. *sigh*
Hope you had a pleasant and uneventful day. Any new snow lately? The sun has actually come out here just now.
Hi Kathy.
Sorry about the stress and hope you can now have a relaxing evening. Hope you can have something put in place to solve that problem.
I live in southwest Colorado in what’s called The Four Corners area. Sometimes we will get a front that whips in the red dust from Arizona and Utah.
We had such a frontcome through yesterday and had a dust and snow storm at the same time. There was a 1/16 inch of red mud covering everything.
If you google Durango, CO or La Plata County, CO you’ll see
See you on the Canteen. Have a restful eve.
