One of Hollywoods leading executives who supports the Republican party said the GOP is being hijacked by anti-immigration groups and other special interests.
Michael Burns, the vice chairman of Lions Gate Entertainment, the filmmaker and entertainment powerhouse, tells Newsmax TV in an exclusive interview the GOP needs to open up to Hispanics and other immigrant groups or it will wither.
The Republicans are losing a marvelous opportunity to embrace the Hispanic community through immigration reform and its now or never, he said. The moderates that I knowand I consider myself a moderatefeel very strongly about this.

IT’S A LIE!!!!!!!!
“The GOP needs to open to Conservatives.”
AMEN!
GOP needs to be open to the RULE OF LAW too!
“..this line of BS has been used for 20 years with the same result...a luke warm candidate who won’t fight, won’t tell the truth, and won’t speak with conviction....it has always been the party of “who’s next in the Rino line” “
BTT!
SAY NO TO AMNESTY

The Senate Gang of Eight is winning its media offensive to make amnesty seem inevitable. That could cause some in Congress who might vote against amnesty to crumble under pressure. We need to show our elected officials that Americans will not accept excuses for passing an amnesty!
Given that our last FIVE GOP nominees have been “moderates,” and only one of them won (and by a hair at that, not to mention that both Bushes were a disaster), it looks more to me like Michael Burns needs to open to conservatives.
Yes...the other Hispanic ethnic communities are not fond of Cubans
Marco Rubio would more likely LOSE Hispanic votes in the Southwest and other Mexican/Central American population areas. Amnesty will not help him in that regard
Maybe MB thinks Dole, McCain and Romney are those conservatives driving moderates like him away from the Party.
Actually, I think that MB is a Libertarian and wants them to control the Party instead of the moderates and kick all conservatives out, which has almost been the case.
I think all republicans should re-register as democrats then we would finally have a say.
Yeah, like we need advice from some Hollyweird rino.....
The GOP has not been winning because you can’t outbid folks who are willing to spend every cent you have. We’ve hit a tipping point where the folks voting for “free stuff” will out vote the folks voting for “leave me, my family, and my stuff alone.”
As the “Iron Lady” once said, “Eventually, you run out of other people’s money to spend.”
