BEIRUT (AP) -- Al-Qaida's branch in Iraq said it has merged with Syria's extremist Jabhat al-Nusra, a move that shows the rising confidence of radicals within the Syrian rebel movement and is likely to trigger renewed fears among its international backers.
A website linked to Jabhat al-Nusra confirmed on Tuesday the merger with the Islamic State of Iraq, whose leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, first made the announcement in a 21-minute audio message posted on militant websites late Monday.

3 AM Phone ringing again.
That’s just great...
No wonder Syria’s president has been fighting so hard to stay in power- he saw what they did to the leaders of Egypt and Libya when they took over.
Maybe he doesn’t want to be dragged through the streets with a knife sticking out of his ass
The crazies are operating so openly that it’s just a matter of time before the black flag of AQ is flying over the WH.

Back to Iraq?
We all knew the obvious. Impossible to believe that State and Beezle didn’t know this was coming.
Which means.... we were pretty sure this was the Beezle end game.
John Kerry is handling foreign stuff.
The Saudi’s can’t be liking this.
The end game is chaos. Worldwide. That is the progressive way. We must destroy society so that we can rebuild society and model into one of the great Socialist Fairyland's similar to what they have in North Korea.
You are a day late and dollar short, my FRiend. The black flag of AQ has been flying over the White House since January 2009. On november 6, 2012 A majority of voters that live in the U.S. said, via their votes, that they wanted to keep the AQ flag flying over the White House. And to add insult to injury, the citizens of two entire States slod their birthright for a bowl of Government porrage. Freedom loving individuals are an endangered species in the U.S. of A today.
I suspect this mess is going to go on for a long time. The Russians will just wait things out. I’m sure the Kenyan’s teams have an equitable solution to the whole charade. /sarc.

I just read another long article about this and according to it the video said they’ve been merged for a while now including supplying money and people to the rebellion in Syria. They just waited to announce it until the jihadists made significant progress on the battle field, which they have.
