There are two schools of thought on whether the implementation of Obamacare will be a drag on Democratic fortunes in 2014 - especially in the Senate.
Both are legitimate scenarios. The first theorizes that no matter how bad things get in the implementation of Obamacare, that the president and Democrats will turn the tables and successfully blame Republicans for the snafus by claiming they obstructed the smooth roll out of the law.
The reality is that the GOP is a stink bomb in the public's mind right now and they may be willing to believe anything Democrats say about them.
On the other hand, not one single GOP lawmaker voted for Obamacare, and the bill's flaws will be seen as built in to the legislation, regardless of how it was rolled out. This is also plausible especially if Republicans can consistently portray this albatross as an exclusive Democratic property.
One reason a lot of people are starting to think that the second scenario is more plausible is the way that Democrats are starting to criticize the law.
The Hill:
Democrats complained this week about a one-year delay in a key program designed to help small businesses -- a central selling point for the healthcare law that now won't be in place when voters head to the polls next year.
"Senate Republicans will have the opportunity to campaign against Obamacare's rising health care costs, burdensome paperwork and broken promises and could use it to motivate voters against Democrat candidates, especially vulnerable ones in red states," Republican strategist Ron Bonjean said.

....if they purposely keep pushing back dates.....not before the election..NOTHING!....the gun issue is what they have to deal with
Realistically? I look at it this way. They certainly cheated in a select few critical precincts of a select group of battleground states sympathetic to or with Democrat ideology. They downright cheated - massively in these places. It won them the election.
My take is that there are 435 seats in 435 districts, not a few critical precincts in just a couple or four states. They can concentrate on a critical few Republican-held districts, but they must also bolster and maintain a few or more of their districts.
I am hoping, desperately, Oresident doesn’t get a House to go along with his no-ball-bastard Senate. I’m hoping mighty hard.
The democrats will make the 2014 elections all about “getting back what the republicans stole from you in sequestration”.
If the “fairness” of the 2012 elections was any indicator as to where we are in keeping government under control at the ballot box, we are in serious trouble.
Democrats will NOT allow another mid-term run on their congressional seats. If anything, they are gearing up for an even bigger steal in 2014 than what occurred in 2012.
If a pathetic economy didn’t stop people, dead & alive, from voting for him.....this will be a cake walk.
Low information voters won’t care. My in laws are crazy low info, pro Obama voters. They love Obamacare. They ALL donned hoodies after Trayvon Martin.
Brainwashed and stupid.
Zero.
Obamacare won’t hurt Democrats one single bit, because we have been exporting jobs to China.
BRING BACK AMERICAN JOBS NOW.
Then people will worry about who pays for their healthcare.
Right now 15% or so (realistically) are out of work. They do not care that the government is paying for their healthcare.
Bring back US jobs now!
Unfortunately, that's the scenario that will play out... the Repubs fail miserably at rebutting the lies that pour out, especially at election time. They need to be on an all-out truth offensive NOW.
Nice thought, but unachievable, considering we're ruled by a regime that has a vested interest in rampant joblessness.

Something the Stupid Party will completely screw up doing.
Bring back US jobs now!

No to mention, how do you bring back a job that can be done with a 3d printer on your own desk?
“Bring back American jobs now.”
This should be the Republican platform. Unfortunately the GOP establishment is aligned with the big multinational corporations, Wall Street banks, and private equity firms who profit from the export of US jobs and the US industrial base. NAFTA and WTO are the spawn of the Bush family beginning with Pappy.
Not one bit. “That is old news. Can we move on, please?”
We’re so doomed.
Dems will repeat ‘mend not end’ like Clinton used to.
And its impossible to take away freebees once they start.
Birth control mandate and medicare expansion are here to stay.
Otherwise its hard to see how the GOP gets blamed, in fact GOP bipartision ‘fix O-care’ efforts seem a counterproductive approach.
The poverty pimps don’t vote in off year elections.
“No to mention, how do you bring back a job that can be done with a 3d printer on your own desk?”
What are you making, paper airplanes?
You think the economy will be any better in 2014? What about inflation? What about joblessness?
The Obama/Pelosi/Reid tryanny will reap a GOP counterinsurgency in 2014. And the last 2 years of the Obama Presidency will deteoriate into one giant blamefest by obots and dems.
