The biggest political problem faced by so-called “liberals” and so-called “progressives” in President Obama’s second term is how to prevent voters from holding them politically responsible as the public comes to realize how badly they were lied to during the first Obama term to win passage of Obamacare.
Most supporters of Obamacare embraced it because of a principled belief that everyone should have access to essential healthcare. But even the establishment, still Democrat dominated, CBO admits that after 10 years of implementation, Obamacare will still leave 30 million uninsured.
We will see below why that is a woeful underestimate.

Just wait until the broad realization dawns that the harsh reality of Obamacare is that tens of millions will lose their employer provided insurance because of the perverse incentives under the program. Even the establishment CBO admits that at least 7 million, and as many as 20 million, will lose their employer coverage.

So much for President Obama’s oft repeated first term promise that “If you like your health insurance, you can keep it. No one is going to take that away from you.”
Obama campaigned in 2008 on a promise that Obamacare would reduce the cost of health insurance by $2,500 for average families. But since Obamacare passed, the cost of an average family policy has already increased by $3,000.

It will be blamed on Bush. The low information voters won’t know that Bush was long out of office when this was passed. No matter. The media will proclaim it so and it will be believed.

I honestly expect it will be larger than even the CBO's higher estimate, since the CBO rarely gets it right.
Nor will we ever be reminded Obamacare was passed without a single republican vote.

America cannot survive this plague and epidemic of rampant stupidity. Even if it has been intentionally orchestrated by leftist indoctrination.... there is still the internet and the truth is out there for anyone that cares enough to find it. But lack of interest, apathy and preoccupation with more “pressing issues” (celebrity fashion, video games, American Idol, etc.) will guarantee that this stupidity epidemic keeps spreading and growing....and killing the American Dream forever, turning it into the American’t Nightmare, instead.
Pure unadulterated horse sh!!. My wife (82) suffers from COPD.She has shortness of breath when she exerts herself.
Her PCP tried to get a referral for some breathing therapy.
Medicare denied the request. Her level of COPD didn’t qualify her for the therapy.

I wonder how my ex-boss (Hispanic, educated but left-leaning) will like the end results of her Obama votes when she loses her formerly excellent healthcare and when the Democrats then go after her 401k account. Hell, she may even lose her job (others have).

Mr. Small Businessperson meets with the health insurance companies. Cost of providing employer paid health insurance will be $7000 per year per employee after the employee’s conribution. Cost of paying the penalty to Uncle Sam for not providing health insurance is $2000 per year per employee. Cost of providing health insurance or paying penalty for any employee working 29 or fewer hours per week is $0.
What will Mr. Small Businessman do?
The economics for Mr. Big Corporation are the same except he/she can also move jobs offshore and contract work. What will Mr. Big Corporation do?
